NZ Filers! My case is READY! And I think yours is too because the tracker said there were multiple cases ready for that embassy...

I don't have much information on NZ but what I do have I'll share with you in the event you are still waiting on your  P3 letter from your Embassy. If you could be so kind as to send me a copy once you get a hold of one I would appreciate it. I use them to help couples, much like yourselves. Just PM me here on VJ when you have a copy. Thanks.

Important: Police certificates expire after one year, unless the certificate was issued from your country of previous residence and you have not returned there since the police certificate was issued. If at the time of your interview the following three items are all true, you must bring a new police certificate to your visa interview:

  • You are more than 16 years old;
  • The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
  • You still live in the country that issued the certificate.

We applied for her certificates just this month, because she needed one from Japan from a foreign exchange trip and that one is supposed to take 2-3 months.

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/fiance-k-1.html#6  that's a list of the documents needed for the visa. Make sure you figure out where the approved doctor is that can do his medical, I know on the South island the only one located in Christchurch... Better than Auckland when fiancée is in Dunedin but still XD

OK, thanks!  We are just nervous as we don't want that to happen to us since she doesn't live in Manila and I live in the USA and flights are expensive. Ours interview is 19 days after our status has changed to ready so we should be ok I think.

You should be ok. Usually USEM is pretty accurate with the "ready" sign.

I think my question a few pages ago may have gotten missed.  Sorry to double post, but I need an answer so that I can send this package to my fiancee.

I have an intro letter, I-134 form, 12 months of bank statements (with daily balances), and a bank letter which all list different balances for 2 of my bank accounts because the balances were taken at different times in a month.  (The difference is about $3000, but the accounts are worth over 500% FPL combined.)  There are dates on all of these.  Do I need to redo my I-134 and these other materials to all show the same number, or is it fine?

June 2016: We started writing to each other

June-July 2017: Met in person in the US for our first anniversary

December 2017 - January 2018: Met again in the US and got engaged

01/09/2018: I-129F sent to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox via FedEx

01/16/2018: Received NOA1 (NOA1 notice date: 01/11/2018)

June-July 2018: Met in person in Singapore and Australia for our second anniversary

08/03/2018: Notice date on our NOA2 (updated in USCIS's new website on August 6)

08/15/2018: Our case reached NVC

08/22/2018: Received NVC case number

09/04/2018: Our package left NVC (arrived 9/11, and she sent packet 3 that day)

09/20/2018: Received packet 4; scheduled interview

10/30/2018: Interview - told that we're approved!  Now waiting to receive the visa...
11/27/2018: Port of Entry at BWI

12/1/2018: Our wedding!

12/8/2018: Filed AoS on the way to our honeymoon (12/8-15/2018)
6/~7/2019: EAD and AP approved
09/25/2019: AOS interview in Orlando -- approval and green card!

Next step, June 2019: Filing I-751

Note: My wife is a Singaporean.  She moved to Australia before we met and got permanent residency there.

I don’t read anywhere that you need 12 months of bank statements, only a letter from your bank showing deposits for the last year, current balance, etc
