The White House is considering handing over American citizens to Putin for questioning.

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/07/putin-asks-trump-to-hand-over-us-diplomats

So far, I can say the following,” Putin explained, referring to Russia providing cooperation to Mueller. “We have an existing agreement between the United States of America and the Russian Federation, an existing treaty that dates back to 1999. The mutual assistance on criminal cases.” This treaty, he noted, is “in full effect” and “works quite efficiently.” Perhaps, Putin suggested, Mueller could use this treaty to submit an extradition request for the Russian intelligence officers that the Justice Department indicted last week for interfering in the election.

There would be “another condition,” Putin added. “This kind of effort should be mutual one. Then we would expect that the Americans would reciprocate.”

Why do that, Putin could just organize an American law firm to show up at the arraignment of these individuals and demand discovery to get Mueller's evidence.

I don't believe the legal system requires the defendant to be there in person as long as their represented.  I think there is another case Mueller started that is following that path.

The Concord Management indictment.  I don’t think the Mueller team thought this one would go anywhere, then an American law firm shows up at the indictment, enters a plea on behalf of its clients and demands discovery which appears to have completely surprised the Mueller team.

Didn't you know due process only applies when Mueller says it does? By the way how evil of Putin to offer to allow Mueller to question the alleged Russian spies. Mueller didn't want to actually question anyone. He only wanted to make accusations that wouldn't be challenged.

That seems pretty clear.  My understanding is that the Mueller team transferred this case (the 12 GRU officers indicted) to another DOJ prosecution department where cases tend to go to die.  Not sure what's going on with the Concord Management case as the biased mainstream media isn't really covering that one.

Keeping up with what?  The failings and missteps of the Mueller team?
