I have been married to my wife for 2.5 years and because of my job, I am an USC. I will be relocating back to US by my employer next month and we will file I-130 for my wife's immigrant visa soon.

Since we have been married for over 2 years, what evidence do we need to provide for the i-130 filing other than the marriage certificate? Or is it a non-issue since we have been married for over 2 years?

We are renting an apt in Taiwan so all the bills come with landlord's name on there and we just pay the bills.

Thanks in advance!

Yes you should include more evidence that you've had a genuine relationship other than a marriage certificate.  Since you have been living together, this evidence should be easy to collect.

Actually, for the I-130, your marriage certificate and your ID are all you need.  We used an attorney for this step, and I was freaking out that she did not want to front load, but we sailed through.  But our CR-1 packet was LOADED!  And our ROC, as well!

Technically in the instructions it does say to include marriage evidence.  People that make it through without any evidence like you always amaze me. :)

unfortunately we never changed our utilities bills to our names. However we did file our Taiwan income taxes together, I have copies of that from the past 2 years. Will that count as proof?

Our lawyer stated the same as well. I asked them to include the photos I put together and the income tax information and they just told us its not needed for i-130, but will need it for NVC stage. I am extremely worried and stressed out about them not including these extra evidence.

Is the CR-1/IR-1 packet different than what's being submitted with i-130?

The CO at interview doesnt have to look at anything not included with the I-130.

You must have evidence of TIME spent together. ID with same address? Bills to same address? Cards? Photos together spanning that timeframe? Vacations? Trips? Anything? Shared bank account? Your taxes help.  Did you also file your US taxes? You will need those done.

I have prepared photos from our trips together since 2014 - 2018 along with photos together with family and friends.

We do not have shared bank accounts, but we do have the same address for our (separate accounts) credit card statements.

I guess my problem is also I am having a hard time convincing my lawyer to include these evidences I prepared....

Why do you need a lawyer to send your I-130? Who is paying whom?

one thing to add about the credit card statements, these are in Mandarin Chinese, from my research, our banks cannot provide english versions for statements already issued, we can only change for future statements. I don't think we have enough time to wait for new statements....

Can your wife or you translate? Are you fluent?

I did file US taxes, but I files as single since I wasn't aware of anyway to include her without SSN or ITIN

Well you will have to fix that.  Mfs and write NRA in the SSN spot.

We hired an immigration lawyer to help us with the process...we are paying them....

Okay so why are they saying they wont send what you want with your petition? They should send what you want regardless.  Or save your money and do it yourself. Your choice! :D
