Hey guys, we just got notification that the GC is being produced. My husband's 751 was transferred to Potomac 5/3/19. I hope that others will start to see their cases process. We had no RFE, and no interview. Although, I would imagine that if there had been an interview we would have been transferred to NYC, our local, which did not happen. Thank God!!!!

 

I expect that on Monday we will recieve the notification of the approval on Monday, seems the usual process I have seen with others. I saw someone in MN get their card produce notification last friday, their approval notification on Monday, and recieved their card in hand on Wednesday. Hoping the same for my husband.

83 days and counting. I spoke to my lawyer this AM to get some clarity on the situation. She said that a bunch of clients of hers were transferred from VSC to Potomac in the April and May. A few have received their approval, a few got RFEs but a majority were still waiting for any news. She also said that another client, who was transferred to Potomac in  mid March, already has his N400 interview scheduled for the middle of August. He still hasn't heard a peep about his ROC. So he's expecting a combo interview. I applied for naturalization and had my biometrics 2 weeks ago. My online profile says 4 months (November) to completion. So I hope either way, I should have a decision by EOY. For those who are able and willing, I really recommend applying to N400 ASAP. Because for most of us, that is the final goal and 751 processing seems notoriously slow.

Wow..hopefully we will hear something this August. Visa journey keeps breaking my heart by sending me approval estimates for my case for approximately March 2020😅😅😪😪

FWIW, I stopped the VJ alert. I then stopped the 3rd party app alert. Then I disabled the USCIS alert. The VJ numbers change too much to be useful, the 3rd party app was never helpful and even if I did get a message from the USCIS alert, what's it doing to matter? GC approved, awesome. RFE - several days wondering what more evidence they might need.

Hi everyone!

So, I got the approval letter, the new card and a biometrics appointment altogether ! Im confused, biometrics are used to produce the new card as far as I know (right?), so my the old ones were used instead and now they are asking for biometrics? I don't know what to do! I guess I'll reschedule it and I'll go to the new appointment (Im not in the US) and explain there. Does anyone have a better idea?

I think they sent you the biometric letter by mistake. I don't think there's  no need for biometric if you are  already approved and have the green card.

It's not accurate. Never is.

You get two numbers, the low end of the range shows the time it takes to complete 50% of cases, and the high end shows the time it takes to complete 93% of cases. I've not found anything to explain how that enquiry date is determined, but it seems like the 'processing date' is calculated by a date near the high end of the range.
