Btw,

What is NOA? does this mean a stamp date that USCIS received on your application of I-751. Why didn't you guy have the column where people filled in the date that we will receive the extension form of 797C?

Thank you

NOa means Notice of Action. This is the form USCIS sends you regarding updates on your case. The sheet with all the June 2018 filers HAS a column for the date you are suggesting....it is titled "NOA 1 Date".

My wife filed I751 in June and got receipt with 18 months extension but no bio-metric yet. She is planing to travel out of  country for 4 months  due to family urgency. She has to take care of ailing grand mother.

1. Is it possible to reschedule biometric by 4 months

2. WE couldn't get infopass appointment in Dallas. Always getting same error(Currently, there are no available appointments. Please check again tomorrow. Is infopass appointment mandatory? Can she try walk-in?

What are her options?

No CSC filer from April 2018 has gotten biometrics appointment letter so I do not believe June 2018 filers will be so lucky.

You can write a letter to USCIS requesting the waiver of the biometrics with the reason being that your spouse will be out of the country for medical reasons. Waiving the biometrics appointment is totally up to the case officer's discretion.

Hi guys,

Is anyone still haven't trouble checking the status on USCIS website?

I'm forever getting:

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information.

Do I really need to call them for status check? What comes after biometrics?

Do we just now wait until we get next letter in the mail?

That was a lot of questions, lol.

Thanks!

We just discovered something that might be helpful to others and thought of sharing it.

If you can't view your case status online (which has been the case with us since we received our NOA1 letter), try the following:

  • Log in or register at https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/
  • Click on (My account) on the right top corner of the page
  • Under (Account actions), select (Add a paper-filed case)
  • Enter your case number, and it should be added to your account

Hope this helps :)

Absolutely no effect from moving violations unless it involves driving under the influence. Make sure to pay the associated fees/ fines once you complete your defensive driving or deferred adjudication.

Hi everyone..new here.

We filed our AOS, package on the beginning of June 2018. Received message that they working on our case 3 weeks after. 2 Weeks later got biometrics appointment. Today I received a message saying status changed to ready for interview.

I looked up field offices near me and guess Boston is It. Anyone know how long it takes from here? I haven't received work permit yet.
