Hey there! Nice to see another Georgian here. I got biometrics notice letter 2 days after NOA1.

Starting this thread for all the AOS filers with PD of June 2018. I just sent the packet and it reached USCIS today (May 30th).  The journey starts and waiting begins for the NOA!

The I-130 costs 575 dollars and I-485 costs 1225 (including biometric fees). So the total cost is 1800 dollars.

Hello Everyone. I had to resubmit my package as I sent outdated I 485.

So my timeline is as follows:

Package (I 130 + I 485 + I 765 + I 131 + I 864) sent on 30 May.

Received on 31st May.

Accepted on 1st June (Priority Date: June 1st)

GOT NOA on 11 June for all the forms.

Biometrics done: June 28th.

Status update on I-485: As of July 5 2018, case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Status update on I-765: As of July 11 2018, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your form I-765...

Removal of Conditions:

08/20/2020 (Day 0)   --- Sent the ROC package to Phoenix, Arizona lockbox through USPS
08/22/2020 (Day 2)   --- Confirmation from USPS that USCIS received the packet.

08/28/2020 (Day 😎  --- NOA1 notification through email and text for the ROC.

09/02/2020 (Day 13) --- Received I-797, 18 month extension letter with notice date as 08/27/2020. 😇

10/17/2020 (Day 58) --- Received Biometrics notification through email and text that finger prints were applied from AOS stage.😁

06/11/2021 (Day 295) --- New Card is produced :dance:

 

Naturalization & US passport:

07/26/2021 (Day 1) --- Applied the form N-400 online and got the receipt notice.

07/28/2021 (Day 3) --- Received Biometrics notification in USCIS online account that finger prints were reused.😁

12/20/2021 (Day 148) --- Received online notification that Interview is scheduled for 01/27/2022 at Detroit USCIS Field Office.:dance:

01/27/2022 (Day 186)   --- Interview was successful but not given out right approval due to A-file not being available.

04/07/2022 (Day 256) --- Received notification that I am in line for Oath ceremony and it will be scheduled :dance:

04/11/2022 (Day 260)   --- Received notification that Oath ceremony was scheduled and notice was mailed. :jest:

 04/26/2022 (Day 275) --- Oath Ceremony.:jest: Became a US Citizen and received the Certificate of Naturalization. 🥰

05/11/2022 (Day 290) -- Applied for US passport at USPS.

05/18/2022 (Day 297) -- State Department site status says my Passport application is received and in progress and was given a locator number starting with 34.🤞

Not yet, still waiting for the mail. When they mailed me the NOA and the courtesy letter it took 5 business days to receive. So i think the mail will come on Thursday :)

  • (Day 40) Jun 25 2018 - Courtesy letter for I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record) received
  • (Day 61) Jul 16 2018 - Case status of I-485 changed to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"

Hi all.

I got biometrics letter on 20th.

Scheduled on 3rd of august.

I did walk in on monday 23rd of july and did it with no problem.

Now its all about waiting :)

June 25 — Package delivered at Chicago Lock Box

July 3 — Got text and email notifications (late, around 9PM)

July 5 — Both cheques cashed

July 9 —  Received notice of acceptance receipt in the mail

July 16 — Received Biometrics request for July 24th, 8AM apt

July 24 — Showed up at opening, and was out and done by 8:10AM. Everyone was surprisingly nice. One thing I didn't even think about was that I had a small paper cut on my thumb. The girl said that if it was deep I'd have to reschedule, but it was fine.

July 25 — status for I-765 and I-485 changed to "Fingerprint Review Was Completed"

I have 2 small cuts on both my thumbs due to my nature of work hopefully i wont have to reschedule as I am driving 2 hrs to go to my bio tomorrow.

I believe you could go earlier. Mine was scheduled at 11:00 and i finished mine by 10:00 AM.
