Hello there everyone, Is it just me but is everyone having issues signing in to the new website? Every time I sign in it says enter your one time password. Every time I sign in I have to enter my supposedly  one time password  Is there a way around that? Well anyway hope by the end of this month most November filers get their approvals. 180 days and waiting.......

If you are trying to sign in here: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ yes you will need one time password. Enter your username and password in fields and click on blue 'Sign in' bottom, you should receive one time code on your mobile, enter that code and you should be able to log in.

But only for status update here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do you won't need a code.

Thanks,

A one-time password means that it only works once, not that you only have to enter it once. Sorry.

Thanks,

So meaning every time I sign in I have to keep entering a one time code? Sheesh, well hope they fix that issue soon doesn't make sense to me. I get that the status sign in you don't need but that's on the old site I believe.

They won't fix it, since it's not an issue.

It's a security measure...

As somebody that architects solutions with federal agencies, all I can say is this is a security feature and would likely be classified as "Working as Intended". It's called Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). It ensures that somebody cannot just get your password and access your account, and is common when handling sensitive and very sensitive information.
