That might be the approval notice. GCs are printed out (I guess in the dead of the night) in the middle-of-nowhere KY.

Already have the approval notice. This was a scan tracked shipment from USPS which is how the green cards come.. NVC is in Lee's Summit Missouri/Kansas City.

Note if you have informed delivery, it can let you know simply when someone is sending a tracked package in your direction, even if it's not getting their for days. It's more efficient than waiting for the USCIS app to change.

Just wondering, is informed delivery something you signup for with USPS or USCIS?

USPS.

It lets you know documents that come into your mailbox that day, and if something is shipped to you either via priority mail, basic tracking, or like a package, it'll send you an e-mail when it gets to USPS in what ever city it's sending from and give you the tracking number.

For those in a similar situation as me(Vermont filers who can't track their case online): I called the USCIS contact center today and was told that they are currently processing applications filed on Oct 11th, 2017. 

When I asked about why I can't track my case online, I was transferred to the technical department and was told that there was a technical glitch last year when case numbers were being uploaded which caused some receipt numbers to be uploaded for online tracking while others( such as mine), where not uploaded. This is the reason why I can't check my status online. I then asked if anything could be done to fix it. Her reply was that there is nothing that can be done about it and  that I would never be able to track my case online.

Note you'll only get a notice if something is mailed.

This is highly debatable and probably a basic response. The old site was saying the "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information on your case" up until it changed to "Your card has been ordered from production". Even right now the new website still shows case recieved.

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to be checking frequently to see if there any changes for now.

Us May filers seem to have gotten caught in the blackhole. I know only on the new site I can see the "we Received" message. But old Case status is the usual' "Not recognized".
Since I am signed up on the new sight I get email and text like about every other week  the message
 USCIS Message: We are still reviewing your case. We will notify you when your status changes. Update your notifications - https://my.uscis.gov/account/settings"

 

And the email says last action was March 11th. That would be probably when they reviewed the biometrics which was done on March 5th.

 

I wouldn't doubt we just get card in mail without notice. My timeline is almost identical to yours.

 

ROC I-751 Timeline

May 17th, 2018: Mailed ROC package (I-751)

May 21st, 2018: Received at USCIS

June 12th, 2018: NOA1 I-797 Notice Date

March 1st, 2019 - Received Biometrics appoint letter for March 15th

March 5th, 2019 - Biometrics walk in appointment

March 11th, 2019 - Fingerprints reviewed and completed

March 30th, 2019 - Husband became eligible to file for Citizenship we waiting. Houston is 2 years. Ughhhhh

And, dang, 2017??? Not even 2018, but 2017...

So in the off chance that we don't get our green card by the time our extension letter expires, do we get yet another letter of extension?

That is a remarkably poor response.  I'm really surprised they can't find someone to fill in the missing cases into at least one of their two systems.

Just woke up to Card being produce.... so excited... was getting ready to cruise next month with expired green card and extension letter but now no more worries.

we filed on april 2018 but somehow the site said they receive package may 16.
