Hi can I be added to the list? Filed with CSC sent out 5/2, delivered 5/4, no cashed check, and no NOA. Had an info pass appointment on the 24th and the officer told us that they haven't even processed our application yet.

What on earth is going on over in California?? I saw on a couple websites that there were delays for technical reasons? Seriously? This is so frustrating. I was going into this thinking that it was 1-2 weeks to get the receipt and if not you can get the i551 stamp...well you can't get the stamp if they haven't even started. My husband's green card is now expired and he is not allowed to work.

as of today they just cashed checks for applicants received between 4/12-4/17 . it will be another month before they even send out NOA
csc is slow as compared to VSC

I guess you need to wait till the checks are cashed and you get your NOA before going back again to the field office

This is why they recommend sending it all in at the 90 day mark.

They got behind due to a massive influx of H1B applications and some ROC applications routed from VSC to CSC.

At the moment, you're looking at 45 days from the date they received it. Around June 18th is a good date to look forward too.

And yes, they receive the package, but until it's processed it's not put in the system. Basically when they do the NOA, it's in the system, until the NOA they can't find it on the computer.

Note: It all sucks, but there's nothing we can really do about it. The most anyones done is plead at an infopass appointment, but it doesn't work for everyone.

I started watching it before I sent ours out. If all works out, the NOA will pop up 2 days before my husbands GC expires, so I feel ya for kicking yourself!

At this point I've just accepted it, nothing we can do but wait! So don't sweat it too much, relax, it will all work out.

Oh I had a question for you guys, so we recently moved to NJ from NY.

And my husband went to get his NJ driver license yesterday, he got one with EXP 8/22/18 which is same as his GC EXP date, will there be any issues when August comes???

His NY license had 2020 expiration date. If I knew they were going to change it I wouldn't have told him to get NJ license. -_-

Or we can have that changed once we get our extension letter/NOA etc?

Hello everyone,

i am new here.. my GC will expire 08/30/2018 and I mailed my package on may 30,2018. I requested 2 days delivery but they delivered it within on day 😬😬😬😬😬. You should be able to extend it for the duration of the NOA. You might even be lucky and they'll extend it without asking, now that they have your husband in the system.

So that means another trip to the DMV once we get the NOA, right?
