Hospitals and Universities frequently have armed security in places. We have cops outside my hospital in Houston that are armed. So we're good with banning guns there as well?

Just trying to understand what their consistent opinion is on how to make our country safer.

 

Do they want the public all armed?

Do they want to leave protection in the hands of government police forces?

 

Seems like they generally advocate for the former but conveniently in this case they are happy to support the latter.

 

Of course they should break the law, but consistent with their beliefs that they advocate routinely they should have petitioned and complained about the restrictions. Based on their arguments that decision made them all less safe, and impeded their second amendment rates. They usually have an issue with that. As I said though, it wasn't convenient in this case to complain.

They are a group that lobbies against proposed laws that restrict individuals 2nd Amendment rights, but follow the laws and rules that are duly passed.  It really isn’t hard to understand.

How about instead of asking all these rhetorical questions you go do a little bit of research that doesn't  come from Rachel Maddow, Wolf Blitzer or Anderson Cooper?  I'd suggest going to the NRA website to start. Or maybe you could go out and talk to some NRA members. But I know you won't do that because it's easier to mock members of the NRA as a bunch of uncompromising hillbillys  because you think they are the problem when it comes to gun crime.
