Oh Thank God. My mind has been beating since. I was so scared. 

The day I sent the documents, I didn't send the fingerprint card with the police certificate. So I went to the post office, paid for overnight delivery and went back to the office, only to get on visajourney and see an old comment someone posted about receiving an RFE because she didn't send in the fingerprint card. So I called NVC and asked if it was needed, the lady said yes. I just zoomed to my boss' office and told him I had to run, I ran back to the post office and asked for my package back, luckily it was still there, so I added the fingerprint card and off it went. I was so scared that I forgot something else.

This process is truly not for the fainted hearts..the patience and prayers it requires i beyond.

received welcome letter:

Jan 30th 2018

with the case number and ID number. took me awhile to get all the documents ready i had to travel and bring back some of the documents.

AOS paid 4/20/2018

IV paid  4/24/2018

Receipt received via email 5/4/2018

DS-260 sent out via mail by Lawyer 5/4/2018

so the waiting continues with mild heart palpitations. 

So from what i have read from several people on this thread so if NVC receives all the documents that we sent to them. how long after to get a confirmation of them receiving and does that mean i should be receiving a case complete soon after that?? A gal can dream, hope and pray.

i got the case number and invoice number over the phone...the email came much later after i had paid AOS fees.

My status changed from "Documents Required" to "at NVC". What does that mean? I have completed IV application and sent out all the documents. They scanned it on May 3rd.
