It's certainly better than nothing at this point in time and hopefully everything works out for y'all without having to do a CR-1. This is something that should have been caught long before it hit the embassy and at least you should have got a RFE but not a outright denial.

I agree but I see their side too. I answered no. If I answered yes and they needed more info then I agree with you. Since I answered no it may have looked like I was trying to misrepresent myself. I truly wasn’t.

Now that hat we are planning the wedding there (and the whole family is very excited) it will be interesting if we do catch a break.  Either way we will be together so life is certainly an adventure.

I agree as well but like I said it SHOULD have been caught way before this.

Either way you will get married and be happy.

For the crime information on I-130 or I-864 there is nothing I could find on either forms so with DS-260 it is for the beneficiary. Can you correct me which form you answered NO? The first 2 petitions my lawyer did for me so the last one with IR1 I did all by myself. I submitted DS-260 for my wife weeks ago.

In my case I am 100% at fault so I don't anticipate anything but I had to try.

Ya but IF they  allowed you to check YES on a new form, do they also require certified documentation?    Ya I know ... daydreaming.

Move forward.

if K1 interview the consulate gives a 221g , does that hurt the process of a cr1 ? like if we now plan to marry and get married then she would be my wife. so how hard is it from that point to process a cr1 and get her into USA? I'm thinking now go CR1 route

I think it depends on the 221g. My understanding is, everything equal and in a bona fide relationship, the CR-1 is a more forgiving process. If your relationship is real, either process should work. It is important to find out what the 221g was issued for.

You don't process it "from that point". You refile a brand new petition......I-130.
