Finally an update!!

Just recieved a notification “request for initial evidence”

Still no update on my EAD/AP but at this point I’ll take any kind of movement!

Almost had a heart attack when I recieved the text! I have a job interview in a couple hours and was excited to be going to it with an approved EAD. Oh well!

(My recieved date was April 2nd)

Great news!  It's an indication that they are actively working on your case now.   All the best on your interview!

I just saw many June filers got their EAD and they are from Europe. I am thinking maybe USCIS makes people from European get their EAD quicker than other countries, which is disgusting. Totally unfair. GC process is not fair and EAD process is not fair either, not depending on the date you sent in.

I think it’s just minor lost count. Spring - Summer filers.

I just got a notification that they are producing my new EAD card! I finally work.

I am right. It takes 15 weeks after biometrics (without RFE)

I still couldn't believe this!!!

Congrats!  My Biometrics appointment was May 24 and EAD approved Sept 21 so yeah around 15-16 weeks. :)

Guess again! I’m from the UK and I haven’t received mine.

You got RFE, that also will pause EAD

I have nothing against european, I just think they process EAD and GC not fairly by the date we sent in. Some people filed behind me already got their GC and my case didn’t move a bit. It is so frustrating.

GC has to depend on your local office, which is not fair either, because it is federal government, why should be depending on where you live? Isn’t that ridiculous some people just wait 3 months and others have to wait a year or longer to get GC?! EAD are processed in NBC, everyone in the same place, but they still approve people behind me. I just don’t get it. It is totally unfair.

Apparently, we can’t do anything. Ugh

My RFE for green card will affect my EAD??? Really? I thought they were separate.

Can anyone shed shed light on this??

Well, like I said - my recieved date was April 2nd and I only received an RFE today. Still no EAD/AP update! So If they are approving Europeans quicker then others - they missed me out! Haha

Yes. An RFE will put a pause on your application until it is resolved. Sometimes, it resets the clock.

We got an RFIE and thankfully, it did not reset the clock. Our EAD came in about a week ago. I wouldn't fret. I'd reply the RFE as quick as you can.

Ah okay! Thanks! I will reply as soon as I receive the letter explaining what it is! Hopefully it’s something easily resolved.

I received an RFE 8 and a half months after submitting my K1 too! Government forms clearly aren’t for me!

I guess RFE delays your case . You are probably right, they missed you out. Haha.

hey guys, about the requirements (medical) for the interview: I searched a little around VJ and it seems that if you submitted the DS-3025 (vaccination documentation worksheet - the one they give you in your home country when doing the medical for the K1 interview) with your AOS application, you're in the clear and don't need to do a new medical (and bring the I-693) like the AOS interview letter seems to imply.

I felt like there were a couple different opinions on this and am not 100% certain I really don't need to do it. what are your opinions, what are you going to do? the ones who already had your interviews... what did you do and what happened?

thank you all! ❤️❤️❤️

Omg!!!!!

Just cried tears of joy, after getting a RFE on September 14th and them receiving my response on the 18th. I just got moved to Ready to be scheduled for interview.

Sooooo happy. Anyone know if I’ll be receiving my work auth/advance parole soon?

So so so so happy. Hopefully everyone is receiving some good news too!!!

This is so promising for me! Thanks for sharing!

I recieved a notice yesterday for RFIE and I haven’t recieved my EAD/AP yet! I’m praying that it doesn’t set me back to much!

No problem!! I was very surprised to see it move that quick. I’ll let you know when they schedule the interview. I wouldn’t be too worried. Just respond to the RFIE as quick and as soon as possible
