Would it help if I email them regarding the status of my case?

Yes. It helped in my case. I only emailed them about my case. If I didn't get a response within the alloted time or when they did finally respond, I would put in another online enquiry. I bombarded them literally.

Keep in mind, it was 21 months and no word on ROC. That's why I hassled them due to being out of processing ROC time. I didn't email about N-400.

Ohh I see, you had your interview together with the ROC - I applied after I received my 10 yr green card. I shouldn't have waited.

Hello!

I just made an account today to join this thread. I filed my N400 in July 2017, and I’m still waiting. Has anyone from July had their interview yet?

Yeah, it’s pretty awful. First my interview estimation was for January 2018, then June 2018, then August 2018!

My estimation has been moved again to October-December 2018. It’s really upsetting. 😥

No, just the N400. I also just found out that my biometrics info will expire in three months, so hopefully I’ll have my interview before then (but I doubt it). 😩

I found out through another post that your biometrics are only good for 15 months. So I did a quick google search and confirmed it on the USCIS website. Redoing biometrics because they “expire” is a waste of resources in my opinion, but I guess I don’t have a choice! 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is not related to my N-400 case. But my wife has a pending I-751 to remove condition, which is dragging. Recently we received a notice from the USCIS. The letter said despite the fact that her bio metrics are expiring soon, they have decided to extend the validity of her previous results and not require another appointment. This might be just Seattle office, but there is a hope that they don't ask you to come in again.

That is fantastic! If my interview doesn’t happen in three months, I hope they do the same for my case.

Hello, everyone!

I just wanted to share that I got a status update yesterday about my case. My interview has been scheduled, and they’re sending me the time and date in the mail. It looks like they’re finally getting to July-August 2017 cases! So hang in there! ❤️
