I need an urgent feedback please.

So I just got an email from USCIS saying that my application was recommended for approval and I have been scheduled for an oath. Also it states that I need to log on to my profile for more information.

I logged on and there's nothing there, the status still shows that I have been scheduled for my interview which happened 3 months ago.

Any feedback is highly appreciated, because I am literally shaking

Thanks alot Srakilla09, I am really in a euphoric state right now.

My only doubt is that my online status still doesn't reflect that. It still shows the old update "We scheduled you for an interview". Whereas the email from USCIS clearly says, we scheduled you for oath. I always thought that the emails are triggered by the online portal and not vice versa.

Don’t lose sweat about it they don’t always go hand in hand. I also had some irregularities in status changes on both egov and my USCIS online account. Keep an eye when the notice reflects in your online account one of these days. A hard copy will also be mailed to you as well within the next few days.

EL79, I remember you had your interview few days before me.

Use the infopass card. I went to the infopass session against my lawyer's recommendations, and here I am 1 week later got my application approved.

The one thing, I noticed during the session, when the officer was checking my case, he started shuffling some business cards from his drawer, which gave me the indication that he was looking up my officer. So they actually might send them notes to remind them that someone is following up on their case.

Get an appointment and try it out.

Best of luck

Jamira, EI79 and myself had our interviews long time ago but did not a decision. So El79 is till waiting for the decision not the oath.

It was the same day that the status updated to "we have scheduled your oath ceremony" and I received the notice in the mail around 5 days after that.

Yup. I just really don't have idea how long they schedule for oath ceremony tho. I just know that Seattle and Portland do same day oath. Lol

Had my interview in Portland, coz they transferred my case there. And decision cannot be made. When I checked in the afternoon,it changed to "my oath ceremony will be scheduled". Can't wait to get schedule sooner! Lol
