Good evening guys! So my husband and I filed the I-751 on feb-16-2017, Got a transfer notice (transfer from CSC to NSC on Mar-13-2018). We then got a RFE on May-23-2018, which we plan to send additional evidences in tomorrow. Do you know how long until we would hear something back? Now that the 3 years window is open, I can file for citizenship, but will it cause our I-751 to be transferred again from NSC to filed office? We are trying to apply for a mortgage loan, and the mortgage officer needs something to prove my legal residency (he doesn't want the I-551 stamp!). Debating whether we should put the mortgage process on hold until we get my green card, or should I schedule an Infopass and ask for a letter from the USCIS? Please help! If I schedule an appointment now, we can't get it until 2 weeks from now anyway. So if we hear back about 2-3 weeks about our RFE, we are thinking of just wait it out. We have been taking off work so much for the mortgage loan and searching for title companies, etc, all the fun stuffs, so probably shouldn't take any more time off.

You're most welcome!

on Case Tracker app they will assign a tracking number. The tracking number was not available immediately after mailing my card but it took one day till they assigned a tracking number

you can use your tracker number at www.USPS.com in the quick tools tracking selection

I think it is better to wait until your I751 is approved then apply for  your N400

If your file was transferred to a local office, this usually means there would be an interview. Since your file was transferred to NSC , this means no interview. I don't recommend to go for an interview when your I751 file is pending and when there is RFE step ; however some people filed their N400 while their I751 was still pending. That was the case for many people. So send all the documents that they requested ASAP .

The time line for most people from sending the RFE documents until they receive updates normally take from  two weeks to one month. Hang in there and try to fulfill all the RFE requirements. Once they review them and find them relevant , they will approve your case.

Best of luck:)

Awesome News!

They updated my status on May 29 stating that USPS office picked up my card and it took two days till it was delivered to my mail box . With that being said, your card is expected to be delivered tomorrow 06/01/18

All the best to those who are still waiting .. Hang in there.

Congratulations to all the approved applicants.

I am a.m. also February 2017 CSC filer that I had combined N400 application whilst waiting for the I751. Had my interview and was approved a couple days later and now I have checked and it says my I751 and N400 have both been approved on the egov website but the app has not been updated. So waiting for my oath ceremony schedule and possibly 10-year green card if at all they will send it to me.

Awesome news!  Congrats!
