I got a letter saying that the case was transferred to NVC but it didn't update my status online. Will it update after it is at NVC or what?

YES!!!! NOA-2!!!! APPROVED!!!

Checked the USCIS website this morning and the petition was approved yesterday. My account was touched yesterday and the website was updated sometime between 7 pm last night and 9 am this morning. Finally, the long wait for the NOA-2 is over.

Now comes the wait for petitions to be sent to NVC!

Thanks for all the support and kind words from everyone, it really helps get thru this mess! Good luck to all apporved and those still in the wait!

YOU WONT BE ABLE TO USE THE STATUS CHECKER ON THE USCIS WEBSITE AFTER YOUR CASE HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO NVC. CALL NVC TO GET UR CASE NUMBER. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!

What was your RFE for?

Hey Mirla. My RFE was because the officer reviewing my case did not see (overlooked) a form that WAS included in the packet. I just sent the requested form back with an explination saying the form was originally submitted and that it had been overlooked. I made a copy of the final packet right before I intitally sent it out and the form was in my copies, so I know it was included.

Oh well, I can see where mistakes can happen. I'm just glad the NOA-2 waiting game is over!
