Thanks aferforever!!! I hope your right... I have been patient for a long time now..i started really stressed and frantic but almed down as time passed, but now its starting to feel endless again...I want her with me for Christmas so bad!!!! :innocent:

I was just the opposite. I started out very calm because I figured I would be approved in 90 days (according to VJ timeline at the time). Like you I was counting on having my fiancee here by Christmas. I even buffered in an extra month ( I thought) just in case. Since passing the 100 day mark I have slowly felt my anxiety level increasing on a daily basis. I am still hoping for Christmas :innocent:

I am very thankful to the people on VJ who are concerned enough to throw me a lifeline when they see that I am starting to get tired of treading water. Grab ahold Byron!

A lot of us started out counting on 90 days, I was actually Banking on a December 31 wedding, but that's out the window. By 100days i was definately a salior, my poor little dogs felt it, i was cussing at them for the normal stuff the usually do. This process should come with a warning,( be carefull this may drive you crazy) "Grab ahold Byron" :) your fiance will be home for christmas :yes:

This process "may drive you crazy". How true :wacko: !

Still waiting on the NVC here, today is exactly three weeks since we were approved. I called the NVC today and they still have not recieved my case and told me that it could take up to 90days to recieve it. I am so pissed off because when I called the USCIS California office they told me that the packet has been in transit since the 25th. Man I hope they get this problem fixed ASAP.

IN TRANSIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????? Why can't they just send approvals to NVC weekly? Why some reach while others sit in transit? I sure hope mine will get there by next week, transit not good :no: I thought this was the easy part and any delay would be you not sending in Packet 3 ASAP.:huh: Try and check every couple days until you hear something, hang in there tm81 i know how you feel.

My baby won't be here for Christmas or New Years despite the movement we have seen in the past 5 days :(

The wait time for an interview at the embassy in Ghana is 4-6 months so we will have to wait until sometime in April/May. It sucks but on the good side he will not be subjectd to the cold Philly weather too soon :)

First of all, CONGRATS to everyone who is being approved! That is great news and gives me some hope!

For those of you who call the USCIS in hopes to receiving a touch, what exactly do you say? The message repeats itself a million times that customer representatives do not have any more information than what is listed on the website or told through the phone message. Which way do you get to a customer representative? Through the change of address? I appreciate any help, THANKS!!!!

And to the rest of us still waiting, GOOD LUCK!
