Finally posting for the first time- i read the forum almost everyday and want to let you all know that all of you make this so much easier for me as I don't know anyone directly involved with the visa process other than myself.

Hopefully things will speed up this week.... my projected date on my timeline is creeping into middle of september- it started at August 19th for the NOA2- what's with the delay- is everyone on vacation??

i have been hearing over and over again especially with all the proposed changes with immigration laws that the fiance visa is really the only wayt to get over here- i'm happy we're doing it so young. i'm completely over the ' long distance is doable' thought though....

does anyone know about fiances visiting the us? my fiance was saying he's heard of people have trouble because of the landing cards and how theere is a clause that states you dont' have intentino on trying to become a citizen? he hasn't been visiting here because of it- making be have my 129038129038129 th visit to the uk... ha. i have been reading though that peoples fiances have been visiting here.

As long as your fiance' has a valid b-1 or other visa he/she can enter the country. Keep in mind, an i

nternational visitor can be denied entrance anytime at a POE. It doesn't matter if they are applying for a K-1 or anything else. It's best for the traveler to just be honest without offering too much information. My fiance' will have been to the U.S. twice on his B-1 during our VJ. I have found POE people to be pretty fair and friendly (all over the world). I think it has a lot to do with your persona, I mean how you come across to the POE officials with your attitude and personality, etc. Good Luck

I'm not sure. Many of the May filers aren't at that stage yet, so it may be more beneficial for you to post this question in it's own thread. Most of the more experienced VJers don't visit monthly filer threads.

I called CSC today, was told that our file is still sitting on the shelf and not assigned yet. So I guess we just keep waiting for a little attention. Good luck everyone!!!

hey May filers! I am a late April Filer, and I just got my approval today... Here is what I had to do to get it... I finally called August 7th, after waiting and waiting, using the RFE Trick... The man told me nothing was going on with my case and that it had not been assigned yet... I got the two typical touches from a call on the 8th and the 9th, but then, to my surprise I got a touch on the 10th, the 12th (sunday?), and 13th... but my status online still says pending... so I called again today, and find that it was approved the 10th... so did my phone call encourage someone to work on my case?? or was it just coincidence?? don't know.. but if your an early may filer, you might want to call using the RFE trick to get to the CSC, because I have heard of a lot of people whos status' haven't been updated online, that had approvals! Good luck to you all!

I just got touched again today! Rock out! I'm almost certain I have an RFE coming my way, maybe if I call tomorrow I can get a jump on who/where to send my already-ready-to-go RFE package! I only included a photo and a letter from a friend as proof Adam and I have met, which is know now is way, way too little info!

I called today and I was told they are working on cases filed on April 28th and later. Soooooooo I hope this means us I am going to call again on Thursday till I get the answer I want to here LOL...

I hope that is good news for all May filers...I still do not have a NOA1 hard copy...I have called three times and they say they will file a request to check on it and still no NOA1 hard copy....we have had the case number because my fiance' being stopped at the border when he tried to cross the border and told him he already had a K1 in process.(lawyer filed earlier than expected)... so we had the number that was assigned on May 14...the day they said they received it. Has anyone had this happen to them and still get the NOA2 with receiving the hard copy of the NOA1?

Well I waited until quite a few people around my timeline had gotten approvals, but now I wonder if I had called sooner would it have made them speed up a little... Oh, haha.. and remember, they may not be in the same timezone as you... i tried calling around like 9am Texas time, and kept wondering why no CSC representative was available.. DUH!! haha.. because they are 2 hours behind us... so i waited until 11 and got right through... yeah.. we all have our moments hehe... anyways.. Good Luck!
