Similar for me. Filed for EAD renewal in July, but nothing so far.

I would get your US Senator(s) involved. They can shake the tree for you. 

 

The Chicago field office was one of several offices to experience a system glitch, which stopped scheduling interviews for cases filed in 2017 and started scheduling cases filed in 2018. Eventually all field offices affected caught this and have since then resumed processing cases filed in 2017. 

 

I would definitely have the senator shake the tree for your I-485 interview and your EAD renewal. Your automatic 180 days extension is about to expire.

Thanks.. But my 180 day extension will expire in April. Still some months to go

i had gotten in touch with the congressperson in Chicago, they did get a reply back from USCIS saying its within normal timeframe and they're processing cases from 2016

Congresspersons can kick the tree. US Senators can REALLY shake it. US Senators have way more clout.

That's what I think, but I had already contacted them and dont want to contact many. I'll wait for my new renewed EAD hopefully by mid Jan, and then try to contact the Senators

Depends on your zipcode. Google house of rep website, and enter your zipcode. it'll show you the reps for your area. you can email any of those  its www.house.gov

Update (for California) from my lawyer - they're seeing interviews being scheduled now for their clients who filed in May / June 2017. The time is slowly ticking towards us filers in August / September 2017...

Does anyone have an example of the structure of the email that they used to send out to their senator about a case? This would be really helpful. I also found that my husbands EAD renewal is out of normal processing time.

I called in due to our EAD renewal was out of processing time and the next day, we received this notice. Waiting for the letter to know when the schedule is! Almost 2 years of waiting!
