Goodness, gracious! What's taking them so long to look at your case, brother? Are they having a hard time adjudicating it? Geez! I really hope your lawyer will find an answer soon.

i get jealous when i see NOA2 :|. my attorney said my case is assigned to an officer already and its being adjudicated. that was 45 days ago. and he called back uscis after March 26th. the officer said still on review, and cant give specific date.

@Xie_xong a friend of mine and also a VJ-er received a confirmation e-mail from USEM Abu Dhabi that they already received her case and they will be sending the packet 3 shortly. This is a first, so it seems like they're starting to be organized now, Lol! :jest: I shall wait for my confirmation e-mail. I hope you'll get your case number today.

I think the email is pretty immediate, but maybe not everyone gets it. I really don't trust anything they say...

I have been waiting a month since NOA2 so I think you're within normal processing times, especially if yours is an electronic case.

Yeah, but I have no idea if they received our case or if it's an electronic one or not. No idea at all. And I know it's a normal waiting time, but still, I'm getting anxious because I have no clue.

Thank you btw!

So, previously I said we're not in a rush and so we were going to wait for the email from nvc. But guys, trust me, this is hard.

I received the NOA2 on 03/13 but on the hard copy it actually says "notice date 03/10". So it's been around 3 weeks more or less since approval.

My fiance has been busy so he's never called and unfortunately I don't have a phone plan to call, it would be too expensive. So, we have no idea what's going on and I'm getting nervous. He said he'll probably call when he has some free time this week, but I doubt it. We're not in a rush, cause I won't be able to move before mid June, but I guess the sooner I book my interview, the better. Also because I have no idea how much I will have to wait for it. (nobody knows about Italian waiting time, right?)

And then I read about a lot of you guys who received their case numbers in just a couple of weeks and maybe mine is already there waiting for me.

Anyone know how long does it take to get the email after they assign a case number?

Thanks everyone, I'm just really nervous and anxious and fiancé is not helping right now!

If you download the app "google hangouts" you can ring NVC for free, it will only use your data (4G). I rang NVC 3 times using my google hangouts app, it's super easy!

I do have it. It's the app I use to talk with my fiance. But how do you call a number?

I thought it only worked with Gmail accounts not phone numbers!

theres a little telephone image at the bottom right, just click on it, then it will say you have US$0.00 balance and a little green dotted circle, click on that and you can dial a number - NVC will be +1 603 334 0700

Day 13 since NVC receive. I just spoke to Sunny who said my case should have a number by the end of this week. When I asked her to re-confirm she said she couldn't say for sure.  But she said everything looks good and it's going through its normal process, etc.

Tagging my homies in the electronic group who also have a March 20 NVC receive date. Anyone else out there?

@Xie_xong @Elif

Called this morning, still nothing for us as well. When I called on friday someone told me that our case was "on the line", whatever that means, and would be ready monday, which is today. So we'll see if that's true or not I guess

Thank you btw!

It took them 18 days from NOA2 just to receive my case. (Ugh.) When they receive your case you'll know if you're in the electronic group if they ask you to call back and dial 5. :)

BTW I never did this but you also have the option to call USCIS and ask what day your case left USCIS. :)

Oh nooo 😨 don’t say that! I thought electronic meant faster 😔

That’s what i thought too at first. However, in our case it’s not. Others from the electronic group are quite lucky that they’re able to have their case numbers 3-5 working days after the NVC received the approved petition. As of today, we’re on the 9th working day after NVC received our case. They’re so inconsistent and it is making me sad 😔.
