I sent with Priority express and signaute required on -1/30/2018 Got my NOA Recipt on 02/05/2018

WOAH that is fast!!!!!!

I hope I get NOA that fast, too.

Hello everyone!  I just mailed out my package yesterday (2/8) and couldn't fall asleep.  It's 3am.  I dropped off the package at 8:50am at a local fedex and it sat there the whole day and left at 8pm.  I had NO IDEA fedex would take that long.

Anyway fingers crossed and prayers that everyone's green card will come out soon.

I am so glad to have found this forum on this sleepless night.

Cosmos22 I am sorry to hear that your package got returned, but regardless, I hope it will work out for you!!!

Sending out my husband's I-751 today (2/9) to CA! Still finishing up a bit before heading to the post office later (it's the middle of the night right now)..... We're cutting it a bit close, so I'm going to use USPS Priority Express and get it there by Saturday, although I don't think anyone will pick it up from the box until Monday? So nervous  I've done the best I can, but I'm just so anxious about the whole thing! It's been so long since the last time we filed anything that I completely forgot about this whole world and the fact that we're still in the middle of the process!

Your second shipment may even arrive before mine. My package was supposed to be delivered yesterday but USPS tracking says delayed and it only made it to Anaheim last night. Hopefully at some point today it will reach Laguna Niguel. Good luck with yours!

Thanks starsky!!!  and Thanks everyone for being here and being supportive of each other.

You are a super trooper for organizing all this and seriously I am so happy I found this forum to share all this emotional rollercoaster with you.

BTW I did not mention in my previous reply, but I filed with Vermont, not California.  Could you make the correction? It looks like you are making such a beautiful chart...

I just checked my fedex tracking page.... I mailed out my application from Maryland, and now the package is in Memphis TN..waaa.....????? It says it's still headed to Vermont but I was like nooooo don't go to the opposite direction...

So here is the scoop, one of my theories was correct...not enough postage!!! I can't believe it, I have to resend everything again tomorrow and battle with post office. I better not have to repay everything again, just the difference that USCIS stated on envelope. Unreal clerical error! The kicker is they overnighted my package back to me, that cost more than the $13. At least it's nothing crazy, just frustrating. Thank you everyone :D

Ughhh, how annoying!! I'm just amazed that they kicked up such a fuss about there not being enough postage...yet paid for it to be sent back so quickly?! Just...cover the difference and save some money  *sigh* Too logical though, right? Anyway, hope take two goes smoothly!

Did you request for your tax transcripts in the mail? I did mine online and got them immediately.

As for me, I finally got some paper so I'm going to be printing everything out today. :)

Apparently Memphis is a huge distribution hub and just about everyone has a distribution center there - including Fedex, I guess!

Thanks Emily Rose~~! :D

I started panicking last night after reading a post about how it took more than 2 weeks for someone's check to cash out.  My GC expires at the end of the month so...

I was bad for not filing it sooner and after reading how many people prepared to file as soon as the 90-day window opened, I am banging my head against the wall... ugh.

I'm sure you'll be fine, that's almost three weeks from now and that seems like plenty of time for them to get to it. My guess is that two weeks is outside the norm for how long it takes them to cash a check. I'm going to say try not to panic...but I definitely know from experience how hard it is not to!

Thank you for your kind words!!!!! Really appreciate it and GOOD LUCK! to you, too.

I was also looking at the January filers board, and it looks like most people received NOA1 within 1 week... so let's hope that we will also get it soon! :D  (I looked at page 30)

Have a happy Friday everyone!!! I am going to watch the Winter Olympics opening ceremony tonight to get my mind off of this ...

Hi Everyone!

We just mailed our I751 package today, I am so nervous spent the last two weeks making sure I had everything. I only sent our tax returns from 2015 and 2016, we bought a house late 2016 and moved on January 2017, also my husband got a promotion last year, so now for the taxes of 2017 we won't get any return and we have to pay more than we expected, so, we will wait until the first week of April to file our 2017 Taxes, which would've been too late to file for our I 751. ( I hope this is not an issue in our case).

Thank you Everyone, same to you!! :) Tax transcripts usually are pretty quick to arrive. I only included our 2015 and 2016 transcripts as we didn't file our 2017 taxes yet. Are you filing at CA or VT center?
