Is there anyone waiting for the approval with the status "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information." on the old site and "Case Received" on the new website?? I'm little worried whereas majorities of CA applicants have been approved.

I'm in that exact position. Not heard about fingerprints/biometrics or anything :/

Hey everyone, Starsky, Xyuexue , I got home from Japan and my card was in the mail in my house !!!! My friend thought the card will come with the USCIS logo on top

thats why he said he didn’t see any card

it came as a priority mail envelope, and he didn’t think that was it!!!

but when I looked at the mail my card was there in a Priority mail envelope.

Ouf, I can breathe now

You can call USCIS, or send them a message through the portal.

I called the 800 and give me a ton of option most of them were an auto message, I could not get a chance to talk to anyone. Could you please tell me which option I should pick to be able to take with someone.

I don't actually remember, were there no options to talk to an operator?

How about sending them an online message through the portal? They responded to my question online once!

Thanks,

I did send them a message but their respond was useless.

Hi all, I'm new to the group. My case was in limbo from Feb 2018 (when filed) to Feb 2019 when transferred from VSC to TSC. Got an RFE in late April 2019 and responded in about 2 weeks. 'RFE received' status update on May 15th 2019. I was hoping to hear again within 2 weeks of 'REF received' status update, but nope. At least I found this fabulous group to hear from folks on the same boat. Good luck to us!
