congratulation, please what is happening to Vermont center, no one has received any update and i am in the process of purchaing a home, of which i doubt if i will be approve because i dont have my 10 years green card, its frustrating

Please don't worry about having to have your 10 year GC to be able to buy a house. We just got preapproved a few weeks ago and I just made sure to send a scan of my extension letter alongside my conditional GC. If you can't get approved for having the proof you're legal then you need to find yourself a new lender.

thank you so much, i got pre approved and my fear is the final approval and its just my name on it because my husband is not working for now.

You'll be fine. You're here legally with the documentation to prove it. If the final mortgage isn't approved then there are some huge legal issues associated with it. If you're truly concerned then you should be able to talk to your lender and they will put your mind at ease.

Dear USCIS Officer,

This letter is to explain the contents and context of this RFE package.

Since I started working in the airline industry in 2015 my wife and never had much money. Ariel attempted multiple Jobs that for which we moved all over the united states but none of them really worked out. Starting with a move to Atlanta just before our wedding on the 11th of October 2014.after that we moved to Philadelphia PA, Redding CA and back to Atlanta as proven by attached lease copies.

Many days on the road as an airline pilot put a big strain on the relationship but we tried to make it work. On Thanksgiving 2017 Ariel ended the relationship. I moved closer to my place of work in Chicago and since February Milwaukee. Since I moved out in December 2017 I have been still supporting her through job troubles and a sexual assault at her Job in Atlanta extending as far as flying her to Chicago to have her stay with me and her family to recover.

We began the process of divorce with a trial separation starting in December but have since then discovered that what once was is gone. And have initiated the paperwork for the divorce. Because of this we filed it as ongoing relationship base. The court date for the divorce is set for the morning of the 26th.

We were never able to accumulate a lot of assets due to the cost of flight training. The only thing we really owned together was a 2006 Dodge stratus. And furnishings for our apartments. The Furniture was donated and the car went in her name with her move to Boston

During the process of divorce, the assets were divided as needed being the car in her name now. We both used and paid for the car but other than the insurance plan from state farm have no other means of proving it

Attached you will find lease agreements for 2015-2018, tax documentation for 2017 and 2018, State farm insurance plan, flight itineraries for Ariel and affidavits of multiple close, common friends who were involved in our wedding and some of our daily life, as well as photos collected over the few years.

Respectfully, xxxx

That's what i have for the explanation letter. what do you guys think?

I did what I could in correcting your letter. You have multiple issues within the letter that needed correction. Your ideas and a lot of what you are trying to say are not easily understood. You keep referring to your wife or soon to be ex-wife by Ariel, instead of "my wife".
The way you wrote this, I am not sure which one of you wanted the divorce. Not that it matters, but a clearer picture would surely help your case.

Good luck and I hope everything works out.

@neoblast thank you for your help. Your version does indeed make it more easy to understand. I guess I wanted to make it too specific. To a point where it only made sense to me

Congrats to everyone who has been approved and been sent their cards! Did anyone need an interview?

Hope Vermont will catch up soon!

I'm gonna be that person to say please update your Visa Journey profile to show what stage of immigration you're in, it would be a huge help! That way when people see approval posts we know which center you applied to 👍 It's different to your timeline, you have to go on your profile page and select "Edit Profile" in the top right corner.

Thanks for the info on updating our profile.  I changed the timeline a few weeks ago and couldn't understand why it didn't show when I posted a comment until I read your post.  I may be an old dog, but I just learned a new trick! lol  Best of luck to you and all of the other folks awaiting ROC.
