I-751 February 2018 Filers

I filed later than you all (CSC in May 2018), but like to follow to see how much longer it could potentially take us May filers.

When I check the app and type in my receipt number and 100 results, it only shows ERRORs and that the case number was not recognized.

When I login on the website under USCIS.gov, it tells me that my case was received with a WAC number.

Any idea why the app shows so many errors on mine and the following case numbers?

Could that be because they haven't gotten to our cases yet?

Service Center: California Service Center

Transferred? No

I randomly checked the cases from the tracker app. I found that so many cases are now transferred. In my own understanding, it's normal process. Some cases got lucky draw for the card approved (again in my own assumption without any proof or evidence). I have no idea on what basis which ones they decide to go for normal process and which ones to get approve right away.

Which app or site is this on?

The app is just called Case Tracker, it has the Great Seal with an American flag background as its icon.

I actually didn't know you could do this so thank you for the screenshots, @Patchie! I thought I could trick the app into showing some info for my wife's case, but it just says CASE STATUS and bummed me out because there really aren't that many that have that status. Makes me worry what's going on with her case.

Same here... while cases around mine (before and after my number) got either transferred or approved but mine is just "case status".

I checked on USCIS website and it's still the same as last year. Not sure if I call them on this Monday, anything will change. What do you think?

This counting method only works for us filing in 2017/2018.  They start a new numerical system again for the new fiscal year since applications are now going the lockboxes before getting assigned to the Centers.  Ours were going to CSC or VSC directly.

I just checked the website, the other day, my case status was not even reading, and now, it says that My Case Has Transferred and a different Office has New Jurisdiction. The question is should I be worried more now? or would this mean that it will be faster?

No need to be alarmed, several of us have had our cases transferred and my guess is a lot more to come. The last few pages of this thread contain some useful information on what the transferring 'could' mean.

Same here... while cases around mine (before and after my number) got either transferred or approved but mine is just "case status".

I checked on USCIS website and it's still the same as last year. Not sure if I call them on this Monday, anything will change. What do you think?

I doubt anything will change but I just suggested to my wife that she call on Monday. It can't hurt, right?

I just checked the website, the other day, my case status was not even reading, and now, it says that My Case Has Transferred and a different Office has New Jurisdiction. The question is should I be worried more now? or would this mean that it will be faster?

My case moved 3 times so far. Everyday it keeps moving so far. It's like an error or a joke. haha.

I don't worry because this means just moved nothing else until we receive the real letter.

So, let's be positive. : )

Question - where are green cards shipped from? I have a notification on informed delivery that I have an incoming piece of certified mail from San Francisco but haven't received any updates on either on the case tracking sites. Csc filer, if that matters 😊

So I downloaded the app mentioned here and checked out the case statuses of the 5 cases before and after my wifes.  All 5 before hers have been been approved, new cards produced or RFEs sent in the last 2 weeks.  All five after hers haven't been updated in almost a year.  Hopefully hers will be updated after this weekend with some good news.  We have an international trip in less than a month so a new 10 year card would be great to have.
