Today I received updated info on my case that they moved my case to the other office and they will send the reason and instruction.

I am actually nervous. a little worried.

I am not sure if your update says same thing like I received or not.  However, I hope the instruction is about an interview too. Let's hope. :)

Mine updates only mention that they have transferred my case. I do not have a notification that the new office has received it yet.

I wanted to share with you all, I got home after a long and stressful day at work, to find in my mailbox that my removal of conditions have been approved, it was dated 01/30/2019

Congratulations! Great news for you. Did you ever receive an 18-month extension notice? I wanted to put that data in our table.

Hi Thanks for the reply. I actually did contact them and created the ticket and reference number for that. USCIS just sent me the letter afterwards basically saying that I had just to wait. Nothing has happened since then.

My employer recently ran the E-verify, and I was approved, so I guess I'm still safe and legal. I received the NOA regarding to the 18 month extension just like everyone else back in 2018. Just no letter regarding to the biometric.

Most importantly, I have the both text and email notification, so I should be notified although I am not sure about biometric being notified through Text/email. Hopefully it has not been lost.

Welcome to the thread! I would be happy to add you to our tracking table if you can supply me with all the data I need? See below and best of luck!

I've now started to track cases that are being transferred. It will be interesting to see if we see some trends from particular dates. I also captured a few of those folks who had confirmed they got approved. We should be all up to date now.

I have good news to share. I just created an account at the new site, and found that my case is approved on Feb 5th.  While I wait for the approval notice and the card to arrive, I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised to find the approval. The pessimist in me did expect a lot of delays going by the processing timeline on the website and everything you see on the news.

I hope the approval notice finds you all very soon and we all can get on with our lives with one less item to worry about.

Btw, for the record I had received my 18month extension on 08/18/18 as well.

Congratulations 😁

@starsky   Thank you so much!

By the way, today I received one more update that my case moved to the other office again.

After they moved my case two times, I don't worry any more.

I believe that my case is just moved like the notice said.

Question to all:

WAC/EAC 18-XXX-X

What number do you have in the 6th digit of your receipt number? 0 or 5?

I learned something today from USCIS.  The 3-digit that came before (3rd to 5th digit) represent days, but it represents different days depending on 0 or 5 that comes after.

For example, EAC18-122-5-XXXX (mine), represents March 23, 2018 filing date, while EAC18-122-0-XXXX represents January 30, 2018 filing date.

It is my understanding that 0 was an old system which has now been migrated to the new one sometimes early in 2018.  My guess is most (if not all) of February 2018 filer have only number “5” in the 6th digit of their receipt.

My point is, when you see people share their WAC/EAC number only the first FIVE digits, especially in the forum January 2018 or anytime before that, their receipt could seem sequentially close to yours, but without knowing the 6th digit, you cannot really tell if their filing dates are actually close to yours.

Food for thought.

I have another update today that they transferred my case to another office again.

I don't worry anymore but I will just wait.  I hope we can have a good news soon.  : )

How do you figure that represents March 23 and January 30?

JayChi - if the 6th digit is “0,” it is a count of calendar days.  So October 1st is 1 and go on. 1-365, basically.  So 122-0 would fall exactly on January 30, 2018.

If the 6th digit is “5,” it is a count of all USCIS working days only.  I know 122-5 is March 23, 2018 because I counted it and it is also my receipt date.

Ok well maybe I’m just dumb but I don’t get it lol.  How did you arbitrarily come up with Oct 1 and what working day did you start from? Ours is WAC181025XXXX

JayChi - You are not dumb.  We are all curious creatures.

October 1 is a starting date because it is the US government (most governments actually) fiscal year.  The government fiscal year begins on October 1 and ends on September 30 of the following year.

WAC181025 would most likely be the filing date around February 20, 2018 (+/- 3 days).  Am I correct?

My husbands is: WAC-18-194-5-XXXX

but according to this working days calendar which omits government holidays, there were only 175 working days between Oct 1st 2017 and June 7th 2018 which is our NOA date.
