Hi Guys!

 

I need some advice... my husband want us to go out of the country for two weeks to visit our family in Colombia and celebrate my birthday in April over there, my conditional residency expires in May 2, I am very afraid about leaving the country during this year or until I get my new residency, do you guys think I will be okay ? or shouldn't I risk it ?

If you are returning before your GC expires you should be fine anyway. If after, then you should also be fine provided you travel with both your extension letter (NOA1) and your expired green card. This thread has some useful information on traveling on an extension letter .

Finally mailed our I-751 today (February 20, 2018) despite our window opening a month ago. Better late than never! Add us to the list. Sent USPS Priority with signature confirmation. Should deliver by the 23rd.

Hi all,

 

How long does it usually take to get the notification on either phone or email for the USCIS Acceptance Confirmation?

 

I sent out my package on 12th and arrived there on 14th. I make appointment with the consulate to apply for a Schengen visa on 23rd. Now I'm afraid I will not get my NOA1 by 22nd. I checked the bank statement, the check has not been cashed yet. The next available appointment now is like in 2 weeks if I miss this one (means 3 weeks from today). I do concern about my passport if I have to postpone my visa application, that I may not have it back in time for my fingerprint appointment with the USCIS. Maybe I just overthinking. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!.

Hey all!

Finally got around to sending our I-751 packet today. Sent to the Vermont service center. Should arrive by Friday I am told, sent via UPS with tracking.

Hey yours will come!!!  It looks like everyone's getting the NOAs on schedule, which is really excellent.

 

I filed with VT and here's my timeline so far.

 

1.  Mailed out on 2/8.  Checked that USCIS received my package on 2/12

2.  Check cleared on 2/15 (was so happy that I screamed when I saw my bank account)

3.  Received NOA in the mail yesterday (2/19).  NOA  received date is 2/12

 

So far, it looks like they are very fast with depositing checks.  They must have deposited mine almost immediately after receiving the package.

I received my NOA on Jan 26th 2018.

Filed from Minnesota and so I fall under the California.

 

My 751 package is filed with a wavier because of divorce.

 

Any idea what is the track record of California Service Center for processing  751?

This sounds a bit shocking, but I was googling and read that this lady got hers done in less than 4 months.  I think she was from LA.  So...... I really hope that it won't take 17 months... ugh.........

Hi, fellow Minnesotan!  My wife's NOA1 was dated 2/9 but didn't get to us until 2/16.
