  • Our Story
We met in 2008, when I came here on a J-1 visa for the summer, I came back for the summer of 2009 and 2010. I decided to get my graduate degree in the U.S. in 2011. That was also the year we moved in together. He proposed in November 2014, we got married in June 2015. We have two furry babies <3

  1. sure, they asked if we had children (we don't) and if we have plans to have them. I said they are in the plans once we are more comfortable in our living situation (we are still renting since we graduated from College 3 years ago).
  2. @starsky thank you! I was originally on a student visa and adjusted from that, however many citizenship cases are moving very fast. In my N400 January filers thread some have already done the oath. It really depends on the local office. Meanwhile my oath has also been scheduled. I see the light at the end of the tunnel haha
  3. Hi everyone, I had my interview on May 8th and was approved. Oath is next!
  4. Hi everyone, just wanted to update you that I had my interview on May 8th (combo for I751 and N400 which I filed in January, 2019) and was approved for both. Received the e-mail that card was being produced the same day
  5. Hi everyone, I had my interview on May 8th and was approved on both I751 and N400. I brought my husband with me and had to answer questions pertaining to both applications. First, with the husband present, then without him. The questions were fairly easy and the interviewing officer was very nice and personable. I still felt very weird though discussing my plans for children with a government agent. The N400 questions were: - when is the last day to file taxes - name a state that borders Canada - the name of the first 10 amendments to the constitution - name of the Vice president. I unfortunately do not remember the last two questions but can assure you they were all from that booklet. Good luck to everyone!
