All pages or cut down to aid USCIS officer?

Hi all,

Regarding bank, insurance, utility etc. statements submitted as evidence for the i751 petition:

In the experience of those who have done either, it is better to:

a) send ALL pages of bank, utility, insurance statements etc. even where blank/generic/irrelevant/repetitive

b) remove irrelevant pages to cut down not on printing or postage necessarily, but to avoid frustrating the USCIS officer with tons of unnecessary paperwork? I was thinking of going this route, noting that I have done so on the cover letter.

Thoughts?

You don't need to send all of the bills and statements. Just pick 4 or 5 bills, bank statements etc, of each year and send those with your application. Don't send blank or irrelevant pages. They just look for the main evidence and don't have enough time to read every page thoroughly, Good luck.

That's what I figured. Sending 3 statements from each year for each account and further documents, card copies etc. to show my joint status on the account (bozos at our bank didn't add my name to the statements until recently - that's on me for not checking beforehand). Plus we have tax transcripts (and full copies of the returns themselves for good measure) and statements from our new bank (we just switched and joint applied for everything) so I would imagine there is enough to show financial intermingling!

i probably sent far less than most people literally one page per item and the first page of 4 bank statements over the past few years.

I figured there not going to want to read through every page of every statement and tax return. I included like 20 pictures from across the years with the little one

it doesn't matter you can't have everything. The biggest proof is you are married and live together.

If pages are numbered for bank statements send in all the pages. For instance ours are numbered except for the page that has a photocopy of checks written so I didnt include that page.  As per their instructions I sent in the entire statement.  Send in all statements or at minimum quarterly.

If beneficiary is from originally high fraud country send everything.  Honestly, I've seen more RFE's for lack of evidence than I care to admit.

If you dont care about an RFE or dont mind an interview and for your ROC to take longer than necessary, by all means, send in the minimum.

Im not suggesting to send quantity over quality but a large quantity of quality is a good idea.

There is no proof of relationship, there is only evidence. The only proof of a marriage is the marriage certificate.

Living together and married does not evidence make.  Some couples who dont live together full time may have more evidence of a co-mingled life than those who do.  It may be merely because they were prepared for this stage of immigration.  Often utility bills are not huge evidence makers because they wont allow more than one name.

People have gotten RFEs for not including the entire statements.  Also not everyone has children together.

I agree with this, the more evidences you sent the better even though they were irrelevant. I sent all the pages of our joint bank account and cash mutual funds from 2014-2017 , point being was, i dont want RFE so I sent everything that I have.

We sent in just the relevant pages, usually page 1&2, of all monthly statements, about 2 yrs worth. We did not send the extra pages that were ads.. let's hope there are no RFE's for that. Time will tell.

It's good to have all sort of evidence but some couples have less and some have more. It is good to be proactive and prepared for the immigration process but everyone is not prepared.
