  1. I was wondering if I can just include the first page of our joint bank statement or do I have to include the whole statement including expenses/deposits?
  2. HI all, I'm going to be a August 2018 Filer, and I got some questions already. Thanks in advance! 1 - How did you / what do you recommend for attaching photos to your ROC packet? I bought myself these : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0066E5H7K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - and basically intended to attach 6 some photos per year ( so 2016, 2017, and 2018) to the packet. But i'm worried about what I bought that the photos would slip out. I'm planning on using those ACCO Fasteners for the packet and it would go through the photo page. I was also worried if I did a plastic baggy with a staple through to keep the photos inside that it would just annoy the officer. I do intend on writing on the photos themselves when the photo was taken, who is in the photo, and what was the approximate location. 2 - I feel like I've read both options, but what do you recommend with respect to including all pages to bank statements, bills, etc. My phone bill, for example, is about 20 pages each month, about 9 of which is phone records about when we call eachother, and about 10 pages is DATA pages... I have no desire to include those pages, and they don't relate at all to the case. Is there a chance I'd get an RFE because I didn't include all 20 pages?? For Bank Statements, I think I would just include the transactions, but then end it there and move on to the next month. 3 - Has anyone included a separate table of contents? I've made one, and basically was going to refer to see the attached Table of Contents in support of this application. 4 - Is it a good idea to include an explanation of what a particular section of my evidence ( say bills ) is meant for and any pertinent information? Going back to my cell phone bill, saying my number is (XXX-XXX-XYXY and my wife's phone is YYY-YYY-YXYX)? 5 - Highlighting. I thought I read that highlighting was very much discouraged for the I-751 form itself ( makes sense!), but I didn't seem to get a clear answer on the actual evidence itself or whether it represented a problem. 6 - Tax Transcripts. I am thinking I will definitely include two years of tax transcripts, but do I go ahead and include my Form 1040 as well as the associated W2s? Thank you for your help and responses.
  3. Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with this question. My husband needs to apply for naturalization. It is based on our marriage as I am a US Citizen. One of the pieces of evidence we have of our relationship is our bank statements as we have a joint account. My question is do we really have to include every single bank statement from when we opened the account or can I just include a bank statement from every six months or something from when we opened our account until now? My concern is how much paper that will be and that it will be hard to fit it. The second part of this question is if we do need to in fact include every single bank statement, then is it okay to send our packet in a box? Because it will not fit in the usual envelope at that point. I feel like USCIS is a bit picky with how things are sent to them so I want to make sure sending the packet in a box if need be won't be problematic or something. Thank you!
  4. Hi all, I'm currently living abroad with my husband and have been going over the I-864 form and the list of documents needed for proof of domicile in the US.(I haven't received an NOA2 yet, I just like to be prepared and have all documents ready beforehand.) All my bank statements are sent to me online as a PDF. My question is: Can I print out a PDF of my bank/credit card/tax statements and use this in the I-864 or do I need to provide a physical bank statement that was sent to my home address in America? My other question is related to my father being a joint sponsor. As I do not make enough on my own (English Teacher's salary abroad) my dad will also fill out an I-864. He doesn't file me in his taxes and isn't married. His household size is one, but because we intend to stay with my dad for the first month or so in America (at least until we secure a job) does this impact his household number and cause him to file the I-864a since we will be living under the same house (same principle residence)? Also, does anyone know when I can find an example letter where a parent states that their child and the beneficiary will be moving back with them upon returning to the states? I'm not sure if a basic statement typed and signed from my dad will do or if there's more to it, e.g. a housing/rent contract. This would fall under proof to reestablish domicile in the US. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  5. Hi all, Regarding bank, insurance, utility etc. statements submitted as evidence for the i751 petition: In the experience of those who have done either, it is better to: a) send ALL pages of bank, utility, insurance statements etc. even where blank/generic/irrelevant/repetitive b) remove irrelevant pages to cut down not on printing or postage necessarily, but to avoid frustrating the USCIS officer with tons of unnecessary paperwork? I was thinking of going this route, noting that I have done so on the cover letter. Thoughts?
