So I came from work, checked in the mailbox and saw three (3) letters addressed to me. One is my W-2 for tax returns, credit card advertisement with low interest rate and the other was a letter from USCIS (Vermont Service Center). I immediately rushed to open the letter from USCIS and to my greatest surprise; I saw APPROVED. 

 

I ran upstairs to my wife; while the vehicle's door still opened and said "Yes baby, we have made it. I just received my ten (10) year's Green Card." She was so excited, and overwhelmed that this difficult journey was over.

 

So I said to my wife "Let me call Mom to inform her about the good news." 

 

Just about to call Mom: my wife came and woke me up from SLEEP; asked me to help her with the baby because she needs a break. 

 

Can you imagine this was a dream? 😂😂 I have now turned to a mere dreamer because of Vermont Service Center.😀

 

Well, I will sleep the same time I slept last night to have a similar dream. Hopefully, this time around I will be apply for Citizenship.😂

 

Some people will not read this post in its entirety, and will begin to congratulate me by reading the first paragraph.

I got the card today. California Service Center.

Good evening everyone,

this evening at 7:00 pm I received a text message and an email that my status was updated, run to the app and it says new card is being produced( case trucker).

I applied on 1/2/2018 NOA 1/4/2018 WAC18096*****, the last update was 4/12/2018 your case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction .

the funny thing my wife called this afternoon to the automated phone number at 4 pm and it was still saying on 4/12 was transferred to Arlington Virginia.

one more thing to share, I applied for N400 NOA 1/2/2019 and fingerprint was done 01/16/2019, advised by the attorney not to waste time and wait for the GC.

Congrats! I’m WAC18095 and my case was transferred on April 18th 18. I saw 4 cases after mine got approved. Hoping to get mine approved soon.

Congratulations @NinaG! I got mine in my Dream last night from Vermont Service Center. I guess that's where I will be getting my future immigration's documents (thru dreams) until those guys get back to work.😂😂😂
