Just got done with my biometrics appointment. I got there at 8:30 am for my 9am appointment. I was in and out within 10 mins. Quick question to though! Did they return to you your appointment notice and applicant information worksheet after you're done? I have both with me. The process was relatively quick and I kept on thinking I missed something

My wife had her biometric appointment this morning and with around a dozen or so others there for the same, it took about 15 minutes. When she finished they stamped her appointment letter and gave it back to her. The staff there were actually friendly and talkative this time!

We just returned from a cruise to the Bahamas. No problems using the extension letter and expired Green Card. When we were checking in at the ship, a manager did have to be called over to be sure the extension letter was coded properly in their system as a proof of citizenship document, but it caused only a minor delay. Clearing immigration when we re-entered the US at the end of the trip, was even easier. The CBP officer just glanced at the extension letter and card and waved us through, so he was obviously familiar with the documents. I know it is not always this smooth, but we had a good experience traveling during ROC :)

We got the same letter today and it makes absolutely no sense because my wife's appointment was at the local ASC/Field office which IS the closest one to our address! I guess we'll just ignore the letter because she already went to the appointment.

We got the same letter today and it makes absolutely no sense because my wife's appointment was at the local ASC/Field office which IS the closest one to our address! I guess we'll just ignore the letter because she already went to the appointment.

Yes same here. Our field office is only 20 minutes away. We’ll ignore it for now. I went to my appointment anyway...

Yes!  I received the email last week, and then a letter in the mail today stating the error that had occurred.  However, we went on Friday to the address listed, which is the closest office to us.  In any case, we got biometrics taken, and then I got a case update on the USCIS website to say the biometrics had been processed.  So now back to waiting...

Hey guys,

I got a very weird update yesterday. The said I submit a change of address on 5/30 which i didn't do it. I called them and the tier 1 officer said, nope you address is still the same. They refused to put me in touch with tier 2 officer cuz there are too many requests.

Anyone has similar experience? Or this is just a system glitch? I don't think it is a glitch since there is a referral number...... but again the tier 1 officer said they would see the address change IMMEDIATELY if i did request it.
