Is one 6 day visit enough for K1?

Hello we are wanting to file for a K1 visa after we meet in January.

We are meeting out of the country for 6 days. Is this enough for the K1 application?

We are thinking of meeting once more in February but it would only be a weekend as I cannot take more time off from work.

Thank you.

The minimum requirement is that you need to have met at least once within the last two years prior to the submission date of the petition.  So your January meeting will fulfill the minimum requirement

Is it hard to get accepted only meeting once? We have a lot of other supporting documents but this issue is our only concern.

We had one 8 day visit before filing for K-1, it wasn't an issue for us. The only question asked was "Why didn't you visit more?" My answer was that we couldn't get any more time off work.

You meet the minimum requirement of meeting once in the last two years but you also need to submit solid evidence of an ongoing relationship (eg, letters addressed to each other, emails, phone records, etc.).

You meet the minimum requirement to file, and coming from the UK is likely not to raise too many concerns about the validity of the relationship. Don't be complacent either...you still need to show evidence of your ongoing, bona fide relationship.

You will be fine.  Unfortunately, people have to work and have limited vacation time and days off.  It's a no-win.  You need to make the income to qualify but a job limits the amount of time you can spend together.  Even though we get frustrated with them, I believe USCIS and COs are people who want to see us get together rather than keep us apart.  I don't think they really like to deny people.  Don't over-worry.  God willing, you will be together permanently soon!
