DIVORCED JANUARY 25th 2006

EAD applied for again (jeez I need to work ) 28th Feb 2006

Removal hearing July 12th 2006

RFE's received for I360 and EAD 13th October 2006

NOID received March 2007

EAD denied March 2007

Back to Immigration Court April 18th 2007

NOID request for evidence received USCIS 3rd May 2007

I 360 touched May 31st 2007

I 360 actually approved May 30th 2007

EAD filed June 23rd 2007

I 485 filed July 24th 2007

NOA1 for I 485 August 1st 2007

EAD approved August 6th 2007

Medical with CS August 28th 2007

Biometrics August 24th 2007

Paperwork sent to Immigration Judge to finally terminate removal proceedings September 10th 2007

 

GREEN CARD FINALLY APPROVED AFTER 4 YEARS September 9th 2008 :D

Thanks. I hope i can receive any updates early next week.

Usually, after the case is approved, it turns to be in schedule next day.

Wow, your case was very fast.  My case was approved on 8th August. It's been 3 days. It's not scheduled for ceremony yet. Probably the officer are very busy.

I hope I can receive any notification next Monday.

Maybe they are very busy. There were 73 people in my ceremony.

My interview was July 16th and the Oath August 6.

Look like they have the ceremony ceremony twice per week.

Yes I interviewed in Detroit it took 6 days before my Oath ceremony was Scheduled it's August 27th

Is anyone in this group in Brooklyn?

 

I ask, because nearly everyone has at least had their interview scheduled, but I've heard nothing since my biometrics early January...

 

Also, people I know in Manhattan and Queens have already had their oath ceremony

Which day did you get notification of your Oath ceremony was scheduled?

 

I wonder if there is a specific day for officer to schedule Oath ceremony.

Anyone knows if there's a way to request an expedited oath ceremony? My local office does same day oath ceremonies but since my IO had to manually approve my I751 he said I will receive my oath date by mail.. However, it took him a month to process everything and now I'm "in line for oath" and I'm travelling in 2 weeks time :( 

It beats me that Newark does same day interview and oath ceremonies but I have to wait for my oath to be scheduled.

 

Anyone knows if anyone "walked in" for an oath or was successful in getting an Oath Ceremony expedited due to travel? 

AOS Journey:

9/19/2014: AOS Package (i130, i485, i765 and i131) sent to Chicago lockbox using USPS Certified mail

12/3/2014: EAD and Advanced Parole in Production :dancing:

12/12/2014: EAD/AP Card received

1/23/2015: Interview is Scheduled for February 27!

5/7/2018: Received Letter stating i751 Case transferred to National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO 64064

5/30/2018: Interview scheduled for N400

7/11/2018: Attended interview and was informed it will be a combo N400/I751 interview

8/6/2018: N400 Approved

8/7/2018: I751 Approved

9/5/2018: Oath Ceremony missed due to travel abroad and letter sent to USCIS to reschedule ceremony

10/2/2018: Officially a US Citizen!

I have had the same thing for three weeks, I called, and they said it was a temporary glitch, but nothing since.  I'm in Brooklyn

July 16, 2018

We scheduled your naturalization ceremony

It was scheduled on the same day than my interview, July 16th.

On July 17th, the letter was updated on the website.
