You can leave it blank. But if you would like you can create a account at uscis you will be able to track your application status  through there. But if you don’t have one it’s fine just leave it blank no big deal.

Thank you, but isn't that the same account? I am filling Online and that's using https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/, I also have account that I use to check my status https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displayLogon.do. So I am confused which one and how to get the number .

The question is more referring to if you had an online account number BEFORE filing this application online.

Since you've never filed an application online before now, you are fine with leaving that section blank.

I used the USCIS ELIS system before, but my profile is gray now, I cannot open it.  Can I leave the USCIS number section blank?

Thanks!

I think they phased out "USCIS ELIS" and replaced it with "USCIS Online Account". they have two different links as the following:

USCIS ELIS >> https://elis.uscis.dhs.gov

USCIS Online Account >> https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

USCIS ELIS web page is not available any more, and i don't know how we can log in there to get our online account number. i have my ELIS username and password but i can't find login page to USCIS ELIS. any advice?

I have a USCIS online account already, but can't find the account number anywhere.  Anyone know how to get it?

I can't find the actual number in the account either. But it is on the letters they send you. I opened an account in August for the I-90 and will be doing N-400 soon. And the account number was on the acceptance letter and the biometric appointment.

I think though folks here have said if you can't find it and not remember, just leave it blank on forms you fill out.

Yes, it would be nice for it to be found somewhere online, as well as linking this case to my account for status updates.  I'm not big on paper files, but obviously the federal government still is.   Worst case, I could make an InfoPass appointment with the state USCIS office; this is how we ascertained the A-number post-K1 admission.  Like the USCIS online account number, it is sent in one letter only for the NOA2, and never mentioned again...
