Please help. I'm very frustrated. The details said that we should check the letter that was given to us but there was no letter given in the interview. The consulate even congratulated my kids and I. She also said that we have to wait for 7-10 working days for our visa. I checked our visa status online and it said that my visa has been issued but my kids' visas are under "administrative processing."

How long has it been since the interview? Every case goes through AP, and they cannot issue theirs until yours is issued. So it may be a bit longer to process their cases...nothing unusual (on face value).

Our interview was last September, 27. Mine has been issued since last week. Also, my children's case were "ready" last week. Then last Tuesday, theirs turned to "administrative processing."

Thanks.

Everything seems to be in normal timelines. Monday was a holiday, so the 7-10 working days was pretty close. As noted, every case goes through AP...it's a necessary part of the process before they issue the visa.

Our interview was last September 27. Our visa was approved and the consulate congratulated my children and I. She said we'd have to wait 7-10 working days for our visa. She did not tell me anything about additional papers needed to be passed to her. Last week, my case status was "Issued" while my kids' were still "Ready." Last Tuesday, their K2 case status turned into "administrative processing." I read somewhere that they would contact me if they need additional papers but I haven't heard from them yet! Please help! I'm very frustated.

You were given the correct answer to your question on your previous thread. All cases go through administrative processing. It's perfectly normal. You need to be patient with immigration matters.

What you are experiencing is normal. The same thing happened with my K-2's. Relax while you wait. Focus on what needs to be done so you and your children are ready to travel. DO NOT buy airline tickets till you have all visa's in your hands and you have reviewed them for correctness.
