Congratulations to all I-175 and N400 approvals! ❤️

Mine has still no updates, both I-175 and N400 and my extension letter is expiring on June.  😟  Do you guys think my case is already outside the normal processing timeline?

I-175 NOA on October 2, 2017

N400 NOA on September 27, 2018

Will be scheduling infopass appointment after I renew my passport which will be expiring next month.

For Filipinos out there, I have a question. So I was reading about how to renew Philippine passport and one of the requirements is "Proof that applicant has not applied for foreign citizenship, e.g. resident alien card (green card)". What kind of proof do I need for that? And I know I applied for naturalization, would that affect my renewal of passport?

Thank you to anyone who can shed some light.

Yes, one of which is your green card since I just had to renew my PH passport last year and had my name changed too since the old one was on my maiden name. By the way there's a way to follow up on your case if you think it's already outside the normal processing timeline (it varies per Service Center though).

I just saw that sombody's status changed that "Case transfered and New office has jurisdiction " after USics recieved the rfe respons. Is this mean an interview ?

If you want to know, you can call USCIS automated system with that case number. If the file goes to Lee Summit, it is most likely that the applicant will be interviewed or has filed for N-400.

That doesn't sound too good. If approved, wouldn't it normally say 'case was approved'?! Then again, some case workers don't enter updates at all, others are very 'creative' when they do.

I read up on this in other forums. Its a clear indication of a NOID or a straight up denial. If you are being approve.the status say either New Car Produce or Case Approve

Shouldn't they do an interview before making such a decision?

I remember, some months ago I saw a status that said 'appeal dismissed'. 😞

Well they did send an rfe. After that they can deny base on the response you send them.Or they could send another rfe or request an interview or send a NOID.If a case is deny you can get a lawyer and file a motion to reopen.Remember even with a denial only an immigration judge can put u in removal .

I believe it's up to the Immigration Officer if they will have to call you in for an interview. I am not sure if it is a protocol for an applicant who filed for I-751 and then received an RFE letter from them.
