Evidence of meeting in past 2 years

Hello, 

 

I'm quite a worrier in general & with something so important wanting to be with my fiancé, I'm worrying about silly things for our K1 Visa.. so im hoping i could get some more answers from you all..

 

Regarding evidence of meeting in past 2 years, we have plenty of photos, boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel receipts, but no actual receipts for buying items/restaurants (didnt think to keep them) is this going to be an issue?

  Bank statements that show the cards being used where ?

I didn't submit a ton of actual receipts when I purchased things when visiting.  But what I did do, was screen shot some bank statements showing the purchases made while visiting my now husband.

I have Bank statements showing withdrawels from his town ATM, would that be accepted as evidence?

Thats a good idea, I didnt think of bank statements showing locations of purchases, thanks everyone!

Yes  it is an official document that records where you were,

passport stamps. airline reservations and bank statements are the ones that can establish a date, pictures and chat logs can be easily edited to be what ever date you want so they don't mean much.

I hadn't heard that we need receipts of purchases when together - I sent boarding passes, copies of passport stamps, hotel bills, photos, cards addressed to both of us, but no receipts or bank statements.  Is that something I may get an RFE for leaving out?

We didn't submit receipts for anything I purchased when I went to see her. We submitted pictures of us together and with her family, copies of passports and the stamps, and airline itineraries. We didn't have any RFE's. England's not a high fraud country. I'm sure you submitted plenty of evidence. Now quit worrying  Best of luck to you both!

Same here, we submitted very little,  boarding passes, flight tickets, photos with family, phone bills showing international call plan and that was about it - no RFE
