Received My EAD/AP Approval Letter  Today !

NOA 10/20/17

Heard EAD/AP is taking 90 - 120 days

Hope Everyone Who Hasn’t Heard Anything Yet, You Guys Hear Something Very Soon!

Thanks for the great news!

My EAD is pending for 111 days. Expedition request is pending for 2 weeks (from when they received my faxed job offer).

I was told to raised another SR as I am allowed to raise one every five days due to the expedition request.

Hope this wait is going to be over soon for everyone!

Anyone know how EAD's with a NOA1 Date of roughly 91 days ago (October 24, 2017) is determined? Is VJ looking at the most commonly updated date in the timeline to make a guess at where most of the agents are at in the queue? Also I was assuming the tracker for EADs straight up wasn't working, so how could they even determine success beyond people receiving their EAD in the mail?

Yeah it's a little strange. Especially when approvals are all over the place. There are approvals ranging from June through November, but as per folks here there are some Sept and most Oct filers still waiting. I assume it goes by mean date of most recently approved?  http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadlist.php?cfl=&op5=4,7,11,12

I also agree that it's going to be a little skewed with how buggy the tracker is for many. I'll only be able to update it when I get the damn card in the mail lol, or maybe when they approve it my receipt number will magically start being recognized.

Question:-

2) Would the “valid for work only with DHS authorization “ be removed on the new card ?

all your receipts work now? did you call to fix it? My NOA also is dated Nov 2... :( Until now it still shows error for all 4 receipts

Yes they work now. I called them in December with a bunch of stuff I needed to ask, my tracking numbers not working being one of those things. But earlier the same day they suddenly started working!

Any other Oct 27th filers still waiting? At 92 days and counting now... put in a service request online two days ago and the email said to expect a response in two weeks, but the lady I talked to at USCIS today said to wait a month? This is getting really frustrating. :(

Yes, October 24th here (well, for my wife's EAD). As far as I can tell, we're still in the normal time window for processing. Also decided to raise a service request yesterday.

Did you do one online or over the phone? The representative did tell me that we were past normal processing time and asked if we had received an RFE for any of our applications (we haven't). She told me to call back if we haven't heard anything in 30 days.

I did it online. Only basing this off of (numerous) other VJer comments as well as the submitted timelines, so I could be incorrect, but processing longer than 90 days seems to be very common at this point.

I did it online as well with so many folks mentioning that typos seem to be an issue with the SR's when requested over the phone. :P Processing time over 90 days definitely DOES seem to be the most common right now. I was happy to hear that the representative seemed to think it was taking too long though. (why, yes, it is! What can we do to speed that up? :D )

Me too! My husband is very ready to work and we could definitely use the money!

He's had a job since he was 15, so this is the longest he has ever not worked and it's driving him crazy. We did go and have him take his GED a few days ago so that he would have a high school equivalency diploma here. We're not sure how many of his welding certifications will transfer, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. There's a company that is hiring 30 minutes away from us, and he has almost a guaranteed "in". This is getting frustrating to us, and I am sure to everyone else still waiting as well! :P They ought to issue the work permits automatically with the K1's like they used to.
