There is a age difference I am 60 my wife 32, I will have visited Peru 7 times this year. and every 4-6 weeks next year until the interview .She sent me air ticket for Christmas as Christmas gift. I have will naming her as beneficiary, she has power of attorney , and is patient advocate  . We have two joint credit cards. And she is on my  health insurance . We have life insurance listing each other as beneficiary .Should this overcome any possible question of age difference

You will probably get a question about your age difference.....but it sounds like you are gathering good solid documentation that a marriage creates.......

Good Luck......be patient....this is a long journey.

How long did you know each other before getting married?

I just hope that she really loves you and not using you for benefits.

I dount it.

We have a similar age difference.  It was never mentioned.    And yes, we worried about it before hand and had even talked about how we would address it.

How much time that has passed since meeting to wedding is something they may want to know about.  Also how you met.

I don't think Peru is a high fraud country, which helps you.  I think you don't want it to look like a mail-order bride situation, which is why how you met and how much you interacted before the wedding is more of the focus-though not even with respect to the age difference, just anyone.    She is not an 18 or 19 year old, which helps.

In what I read over the course of my application process, it seems they worry about different things in different countries.  Terrorism is bigger in some countries, in Honduras where my spouse is from, it was gang affiliation.  I think Ghana and Russia are countries where they would give you static on the age difference.

I think in Peru,  they mainly worry about drugs.  If there's nothing in her history related to that, I would say don't worry so much!
