Lots of Trees down in Middle ga. Good bit of rain but no flooding. Looks like no power for a bit, but it's in the low 60s.

 

Only thing is everyone s on 4g and internet is slow. May be forced to have extended conversation with wife

A bunch of women gave birth just before or during Harvey, even though they were due later.

We survived!  It was wild, and scary.  Only minor home and office damage.  No power until Sept 22, no TV, no Internet, no cell coverage at my house.  Not sure if anything is left of my home on Big Pine Key, and won't be able to find out for a while.  Had a once in a lifetime experience, I hope, of going out into the eye of a hurricane.  Winds of up to 142 mph then within one minute dead calm.  Lost more than a dozen trees.  Going to take a long while for life to return to normal.

 

I did see so many police near my office today.  Turns out the president was visiting a mobile home park around the corner less than a mile away.  To be honest they always are heavily damaged in any storm.

 

Much to do and difficult to find a fair data connection so.... off I go. A survivor.
