Case placed in Nebraska Center is ok or it's bad?

Good evening almost morning, VJourneys, well finally yesterday at about 3 pm my wife gave the good news,NOA1 received thru SMS and Email, my case was placed at Nebraska Center, I'm wondering now,is a good Center,is the slowest ,too congested,why should wait,a longer time than 6 months per haps?

Dont worry about it. My case was sent to NSC and got approved in 36 days

I'm glad to hear that you were approved so quickly, but @Jhonny needs to realize that this is not the norm by any means. Currently, the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is taking on average 249 days to approve an I-130 application. This estimate is based on user-feedback provided by VisaJourney members. The Nebraska center is also currently the SLOWEST service center; Texas is taking 188 days. 

 

In summary, you will likely have to wait anywhere between 4-8 months before hearing back. It is possible you may hear back/get an approval sooner, but this is unlikely. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do, but wait. I wish you the best of luck!

Urgh, sucks to be the grouped in the NSC pool. So another 6++ months before i get either RFE or NOA2 from NSC then...   

 

No chance of asking your case to be transferred to a different SC? (how did they assign the SC for every cases? i think i did not read this bit)

Good day everyone. My case was/is being handled by the NSC. Although we were initially  approved within a sufficient time frame, at the time this unit was last in processing petitions. Unfortunately dealing with immigration issues is a waiting game. Just remember that it is all worth it in the long run.

Yes, one I realized that I were in Nebraska Center, I felt like ughhhh, but there's nothing else that we can do just sit , wait and monitoring the process at 3 months from i-797 hard copy received... And well, keep praying and hopefully  don't get an RFE!

Ufff, yes, the chosen one in NSC , but nothing, is better than haven't received NOA1 right? 

I've seen cases that were transeferred for one center to another, but I don't know how it is, but I prefer satyng at NSC , don't lose my line position and keep those papers in a quiet place and not to be traveling from one side to another, I'm resigned !!!

USCIS will transfer cases from one service center to another when there is a need to balance the workload among centers.  When this happens, you will not lose your line position.  Our case was transferred from Nebraska to Texas......We were approved within the normal processing time.

Well , this explain many things, so it seems to when they make the transference they check the petition day, and sort it by date...Thanks for the explanation, every day here you learn new things!!! Thank you .

When you asked for the year, I check the timeline immediately and keep astonished reading 2017...
