I saw a video who scred me a little:

In that video it is said that the guy sended the civil Documents (the copies) in Spanish accompanied with a translation and got a Checklist.

I do the same thing I accompanied my civil Documents (all in Spanish) with a Certified Translation, the guy in the video said that the checklist was submit again the documents in Spanish without the translation and now I´m very scared of getting a Checklist instead of CC.

@ms_bobdog what do you think about this.

As an example:

I sended our Marriage Certification as an independent document and the translation was apart in another sheet.

As I´m wondering now, they don´t need the trnalsation, so they just can drop it in the garbage, I don´t think this would be a reason for getting a checklist! Those are my thoughts, what do you guys think?

Now I´m scared!:unsure::wacko::(

I need your opinion guys ....

I don't think u will get a checklist.Becoz u have submitted the translation and specially when u have Spanish in your document.Becoz Spanish is I guess a preferable language in the Nvc as sometimes they give instructions in certain places both in English and Spanish and.As they say "read the details "For English and For Spanish" on Ceac site.And when u submitted the translation separatedly I don't think you will get a checklist .Becoz u can't put the translation in original documents.So separate translations are only option.

I have received invaluable help from here and have in turn, paid it forward! Through this forum I have also made a friend from my country who filed at the same time and I will be meeting her some time next week before both of us go off to start our new lives. I had this idea at some point that someone should organise a gathering somewhere for all of us to meet up to say hi, hahaha!

I totally agree with the meet up! I'm really curious how everyone here looks like and behave in person. Must be fun sharing our experiences with petitioning!

@Jhonny If you sent both the copy of the actual certificate and a translation, you should be fine.

@Mrs.D11 Are you volunteering to organise a meet-up? :D

Yes I sended all the copies of actual certificates and the translations to Spanish, I think that they just throw it Away the translations.

I Was scared because the guy in the video told that he got a Checklist and NVC was requesting to him to send them the copies of the documents again WITHOUT THE TRANSLATION!

Right there I became very pale and I'm afraid that the same thing will happen to me, that's why the less things you see is sometimes better, if I had not seen that video, be calm and not
