Friends....I have a small request to everyone....Can you guys update your process dates on Signature so that it will be easy to provide help based on your process dates. Some people say they didnt receive their NOA1 or biometrics mail but when you look at the date packet sent, it will just be 3-4 days after filiing and they get worried that they didnt receive e-notification or NOA1 and it will be easily to guide them looking at the exact dates so i kindly advise all AOS filers to update their signature. You can access it at

On Top Corner click on your Username > Account Settings > Signature

Thanks :)

You are more than welcome to stay here although for timeline accuracy I would encourage you to also join the September Filers, that way you can relate more as to when you will be receiving NOAs, TXT etc....Good luck.

Thank you so much! I couldn't find the forum! So when you fill concurrently, do you need to provide 6 pictures and copies of each document for each packet. Or can you just submit one big packet with all the documents once? The EAD, the AP and the I-485, kind of require the same documents and pictures, so I am getting confused. Also, most of you made mention of receiving many emails/texts, did you send many form g-1145 or just one?

Let me know if you have any other question.

For the e-notification, do you submit many copies of the document, one for each form, or just one total is good? I have read different answers.

So quick recap on the different documents needed for the different form:

EAD: Identity document with photo (passport) and passport photos (2). Is that all?

Being a K1 visa, I am filling under class c9, meaning I don't need to submit my I-94, correct?

AP: I think we apply for reentry permit? As I am applying for I-485 at the same time I don't have a form I-551. So just send a copy of my passport and a copy of my visa and my stamped page in my passport? + 2 other passport photos.

I just want to make sure I am not forgetting anything!

You still need to submit your I-94. At least, I did.

I also only attached one e-notification document at the front of the package and I got text/emails for all three petitions.

That's my mentality for AOS as well. They seem to give out RFE's fairly frequently, so including stuff to be on the safe side is the way to go I think.

Hi guys i have just received my biometrics appointment which will be on Sept 15..thank God 😊.. however i have also receieved an RFE letter requesting me to submit supporting tax document. This is making me anxious and worried. Since i have applied for K1.. i've provided the original tax return when i was interviewed in the embassy, which is a bad decision btw ☹.. all we can provide now is tax transcript of most recent year.. is that sufficient enough?

Just to let every one know.. these are what being requested in the letter sent to me:

-W2, 1099, form 2555 (amd all supporting tax schedules)

-Evidence of assets sich as 12 months bank statements of my husband.

I hope someone can help me on this.

Good luck on everyone!

Hi everyone, fellow August filer here.

I received my biometrics appointment letter today, but it says that it's in relation to my EAD application. That's fine - I was my EAD as soon as I can get it! But I was expecting the biometrics to be for the I-485 as opposed to anything else. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any guidance on this, so I know what else I should/shouldn't expect.

Thanks!

01/18/17 - I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX

I haven't gotten any AOS RFE yet and praying I dont but I'd recommend sending as many supporting docs as possible, and yes submitting your spouse most recent tax transcript is good because if he/she is above the poverty guideline then really for AOS the most recent tax year is good enough, As for form 1099 and 2555 those are not for him unless he has additional self-employed/independent contractor or has foreign income thats what those forms are for, but send his W-2 although i do believe I read on the I-864 instructions that if you're sending official transcripts thats not needed but nonetheless send everything you can go the bank get a statement showing all his deposits etc to additional evidence of stable income anything to show your spouse has passed the financial requirements to sponsor you is good you can never send too much. I hope this helps in some way and wish you the best keep us posted.
