Question. Will the biometric letter say which field office will process your 400? Thanks.

No it will only say the office where you will need to go for your fingerprinting.  You can look up your field office online at USCIS website.  The funny thing about field offices is, just because you live in one state does not mean your field office is in your state.  You may have to travel to your field office.  I have to travel to a different state for my field office.

Thanks, so basically we won't know which field office specifically will process our 400. I guess we may fund that out by an info pass appointment after it is pending for a while?

NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview

I am trying to submit my N400 application online. However, I am struggling to find a link to apply online/create a new USCIS account that i need to apply online.

 

Can somesome please share a link they used to apply online?

This post is for anyone who wants to apply for the N-400 online. The USCIS website is a bit tricky and doesn't take you directly to the N-400 application portal. These are the steps to online application:

 

1. Go to this link https://my.uscis.gov/apply/naturalization

2. Click on "Create Account"

3. Type in your email  and click on "Sign Up"

4. A confirmation will be sent to your email. Click on the link sent to your email and it will redirect you to a page that will enable you to create a password. Then click "Submit"

5. Go to think link https://my.uscis.gov/exploremyoptions/us_citizen_through_naturalization#benefit-related-content-2 and click the green "Apply" button

6. After this you will be returned to the original log in page where you sign in with your credentials

7. You can take the eligibility test and start your application. 

8. While uploading evidence please be careful because the summary page is still glitchy. Upload the documents in one log in (usually at the end after you have done your final review and before submission) for best results.

Looking back at the forum for July 2017 N-400 Filers, many people received biometrics appointment notifications around 10 days after receiving their NOA. If I had to guess I would say that both of us should receive biometrics appointments either late this week or early next week.

I was able to create my account and start the aplication. However, when i go to my profile, I cannot find my USCIS online account #. Any idea how I can get this since this asked for in the online application?

That sounds about right. Thanks. One question. When we are in line being scheduled for the interview, will that be part of the case update or it will only be part of the e notification?

I have been wondering that myself and I honestly have no idea. I couldn't find anything about it in a previous month's forum. We will just have to wait and see if they update the case tracker online or if we get a notification by email before we receive the paper copy in the mail.
