Hello everyone,

I have filled all the forms and have all my other paperwork ready. But I don't have my spouse passport size photo . I have it in my phone but dnt have the printed picture with me. Can I email pictures to uscis and send all my other papers in mail. Walgreen and Wal-Mart rejected to print a passport size photo from my phone. They said the person should physically be here.  Can I just email the pictures to uscis ,?

Will appreciate ur answers . Hope u guys understand what i am trying to say with my broken English. ☺

If you want to make your own, check out the State Department's own instructions: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports/photos.html

There is also a link on that page to their photo editing tool.

It's a little tricky, but it's very possible to make your own, as long as you carefully follow the rules about how the photo looks and what size the image is.

Here's how we did it: We took several photos, until one finally fit the guidelines about shadows, etc. We cropped it to the necessary size using the State Department's photo editing tool from the link above, then used another program (PowerPoint, but there are lots of options here) to "tile" them so there were two rows of three photos (each photo is 2" by 2", so the composite image we made was 4" tall and 6" wide). We then had a physical 4"x6" print made at a drugstore, cut it apart, and voila, 6 passport photos for really cheap.

Ok. Can i send the rest of my paperwork and wait for pictures until somebody comes from back home and then send it to uscis?

Or any idea what to do in this case.? It's going to take a while to mail the pictures from back home. Or wait for somebody .

Or any place that will print her pictures.

You cannot email the photos.  Here is what we did.  My fiancé sent me the photos electronically and I put six copies sized properly onto a PowerPoint slide, saved it as a jpg and printed it out as a 4x6 photo at a local pharmacy.  It worked for us.

Good Luck!

I wouldn't do that as it most likely will result in an RFE eventually, and even if you send them in before the RFE shows up, USCIS may not actually get them to your file.  Just do like I, or @AK_2014suggested with the picture you have if it meets the guideline.

Good Luck!

Why don't you just print them yourself, the instructions say that they need to be passport style photos, but there is nothing about "where" you should print them make sure they have the right specifications and print it in to semi glossy photograph paper, buy a quality one.

Good luck!
