He's made a home for his family in their stunning £20 million property in Sonning-On-Thames, Berkshire.

Yet George Clooney is said to be considering relocating from the English countryside to Los Angeles as he fears for the safety of wife Amal and their newborn twins.

Following the birth of Ella and Alexander last month, the doting new dad, 56, has reportedly been increasingly worried about the level of security in their homes, Life&Style reports.

Well his house is in Sonning, near Reading.

Presumably now available for the causes he supports.

My wife used to live about 5 minutes away from their house, and after work would go to a pub that they would stop in from time to time.

I'm not really sure what his safety concerns are. Reading isn't great, but Sonning is a nice area. Not to mention it was a friggin compound that you couldn't even look into.

Not sure if Los Angeles is going to be any safer...

Maybe it is easier for their security to get guns in LA?

True...but I can guarantee there are A LOT less "other people" with guns in Sonning than there is in LA

To each their own. I'd never choose to raise my children in Los Angeles. Would much rather raise them in the English Countryside but different strokes for different folks.

I lived in Goring and quite a few had shotguns, long time ago.

How long ago?

Not saying people don't have them...but not the same kind of people who have them in LA. I'd prefer a neighbour who has them because they have hunting grounds than have a random gang on the street all "packing"

Have a feeling George's home is not in the hood, 30 years must be.

Yeah, it is just like Detroit.  Everyone who lives in the Metro area says they are from Detroit, but not many people really are as the number of people actually living in the city is fairly low compared to what it once was.  I suspect George and Amal will be living in a nice quite gated estate in Beverly Hills, or Malibu, or somewhere else quite exclusive.

I have been to Sonning. .there was/is the ancient one lane bridge over the Thames that backed up for blocks on both sides...did they ever replace it?

He has a place in Studio City actually. My neighbors cousin knows where they live because he is a FedEx delivery driver and delivered stuff to them before. He said it's a nice place
