Hi! My husband was asked to submit the form DS-5535 after four months of being on AP. Does it take more than 60 days for it to have an update or does it take more than that? Is it a bad sign? Please share your inputs.

Yes I submitted the questions 3 days after the interview which was august 28 2017. I've never had a update :(

You filed here in USEManila? Did you get your visa already? Please update. Thank you.

After the DS-5355 is submitted, expect a few months to process it.

hi guys i was wondering  that my case hasn't been updated since jul  last year 2018    even though i have seen a lot  of people have been getting updates even though their visa  is not getting issued  does this mean that they are not working on my case  or thats just normal

Have you inquired at all? Have you or your petitioner asked your local representative or state senator to send in an inquiry on your behalf? There isn't much that can be done but it's a good idea to keep your or your petitioner's local reps and senator in the loop about what's going on. Also if the date isn't updated doesn't necessarily means they are not working on it. Some don't get updated and once reached a certain time, they reach out to you to update medical and other documents..usually means that they are ready to issue the visa. Don't stress too much about it but make sure that you continue to inquire about your case every month or every 60 days

You have every right to inquire, that's the one thing you can do even if the reply is to wait. I also urge you to reach out to your reps and so they know that extreme vetting policies is making your life difficult.  pray that you hear back soon.
