ORIGINAL STORY: Ex-FBI Director James Comey has privately told members of Congress that he had a frosty exchange with Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch last year when he confronted her about possible political interference in the Hillary Clinton email investigation after showing Lynch a sensitive document she was unaware the FBI possessed, according to sources who were directly briefed on the matter.

Not saying it's not true... but again with so much complaining about 'sources' being fake news on this forum, it's interesting to see the basis of this article is one source that came out of a 'classified closed session'.  I think such an exchange probably did occur, as Comey certainly implied in the open session he was uncomfortable with some things about Lynch which drove some of the choices he took.

I have no idea if the source is correct or not hence my call for the special investigator.  While we are at it, we should also get one moving to re-investigate the whole email matter and the possible misuse of the FISA act by the FBI.  We put one in place for the whole Russian Collusion narrative based on unnamed sources, why not more?

So true. I would like not list a non-reputable news story on this site without good sources to back it up. Because people like me, you, and Calicat will eat it up for lunch. 

 

But I will hold my opinion until later but I do believe Comey told Lynch that what she was doing wasn't right.

Wouldn't you like to know what was in the document Comey showed Lynch?  Wonder,if it was more of him trying to impersonate JEH?

For all we know it could have been the deed for his time-share in Boca, or the email from a Nigerian prince who has millions of dollars in a US bank account. Without a subpoena, chances are that information will remain private, courtesy of the 4th amendment.

Seems like it would be the property of the FBI and not personal property of James Comey.  Last I heard, it can be a crime to remove official documents from a place of employment once employment has been terminated.  However, it probably is highly classified, so we may never see it.

It could be anything at all. If could even be damming evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Could be the truth about the extraterrestrials in Area 51. It could be the recipe for chocolate chip cookies.

Well the only thing we learned for sure was Trump is not under investigation and never had been.
