That's right. They ask you if the trip was longer than 6 months in the subsequent question, so no reason to sweat it.

Hi , Sorry may be somone can help  me , Does anybody knows if you can Scan a filing  Fee $725 Check and submit with your n400 ?  when you are filing online ?

• Authorization: By submitting your check, you authorize USCIS to convert your check into an electronic fund transfer. If the transfer cannot occur for technical reasons, you authorize us to process the copy of your original check through normal paper check procedures.
• Electronic Deposit of Checks: If you are paying your fees by check, we will convert your check into an electronic fund transfer. We will use the account information from your check to make an electronic fund transfer from your checking account for the amount of the check.

Hi I'm a Sep'17 online filer. I wonder if USCIS stop this case status: "Case is In Line for An Interview". I never received it but my friend who is a paper filer got it.

My case on the other hand moved directly from "We reviewed your biometrics" to "USCIS has scheduled for your interview and will mail your notice soon". Confirmation/clarifications from any experts would be highly appreciated.

online filers dont get the "in line" message. When it comes to putting in an "in line" date in the timeline, online filers use the date the status changes to the one you have.

Thank you so much for clarifying this. I was SUPER confused trying to compare my status with other's. But it was difficult as most of the people are paper filers and they kept mentioning "in line" status, which I never received. Now, I am good with your clarification. Do you know what would be the next status for online filers after my stage? When could I expect my status to change? Thank you

The next one will say "read the letter we mailed you", and a couple days later you'll be able to see the PDF of the interview letter in your account.

When filing the N400 online, payment is done via credit card only.

That is not applicable when filing the form online---that is for when you mail in an application.

Hey everyone just wondering about evidence, I don't want to upload a lot of stuff or make it too repetitive/long.

 

Is it ok to provide 3 bank statements for each year instead of 4?

(cause my US citizen spouse took unemployment march and julys for 2015/2016 so we just wanted to provide the statements of feb/sep/nov (aka the statements that show no unemployment withdrawn, even tho it shows in the IRS TAX transcripts and is not like we hiding it but we would prefer show only 3 for the most income made in the year) 

Or is it better to stick to quarterly? 

 

Also for water/internet bills and rent payments is ok to provide quarterly or better for all months? (We have for all months but again don't want to get so repetitive.)

If you have previously filed (as in completed and submitted) any USCIS application online, you have an ELIS account number.

If you haven't, then you don't.

It's ok to do quarterly for utility bills if you can...basically by spreading it out, quarterly bills helps to show continuous residency in terms of bills which is what you want the IO to see.  If your N400 is based off of marriage, they are also looking at both names/address on the bills.

 

Same with the bank statements---they are not looking at the income on the bank statements, they are looking for continuous activity of money going in and out of the joint account.

Hi All

 

my i751 ROC was approved based on extreme cruelty waiver. 

 

Can somebody please advice if I can submit online n400 without evidence of bonafide marriage and extreme cruelty (as there are too many documents) and inform that I can bring all the documents submitted at time of ROC for n400 interview?

 

Or is it mandatory scan all documents and submit online itself? Please advice. Thank you
